Enjoy the beautiful woodland and hillside! Peace & quiet with the North Branch of the Potomac River across Rt 51 (walking or bicycling distance!). Canoeing, kayaking, on the Potomac River - just across the road! Bicycling on the C&O Canal Tow Path (Spring Gap Mile Post 173.3) is also just across the road.
The house includes a Trex deck to enjoy the lovely outdoors. Large gourmet kitchen with Jenn Air range and coffee bar. All bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas are spacious! Living room has gas fireplace insert and large Smart TV for cozy relaxation. Rec Room offers a Foosball Table with freestanding gas stove. Twenty minutes from historic downtown Cumberland and just across the Potomac River from West Virginia. Two sets of sliding glass doors onto deck from the Living Room. Sliding glass doors onto large deck from Primary Bedroom. Large deck across entire front of the house.
Property includes outdoor security cameras (we have a wide range of wildlife on the property).

Very clean, comfortable home conveniently located to downtown Cumberland. The host meets you at the property to answer any questions upon arrival and is very quick to respond to text messages. I would rent this home in the future.

We had a lovely 3 night stay in the "Woodland Oasis" vacation home this week. The location was perfect for our bike trips as the entrance to the C&O Canal bike path was just across the road. The house was spotlessly clean and has a great kitchen that was very well stocked. The coffee station was the best we have ever encountered in a rental house. Brenda and Mike ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend this house and definitely hope to return again soon.

We loved our stay at Woodland oasis proximity to the CO. Canal was right across the street and 5 miles away from Cumberland for dining and visiting the area. The house was wonderful. Had everything you could possibly need already there clean and so quiet and peaceful! The host were the best! Responsive, helpful everything you would want! We will definitely go back!!

Fantastic gem hidden in the hills near Cumberland! Very clean and spacious without too much stuff. Super convenient to tow path trail and such. Easy check in and out. Would be great place for a couples trip.

Lovely home, great kitchen

Wonderful hosts, check-in was easy and informative. We like to cook for ourselves most of the time, even when traveling, and the kitchen was perfect. Would love to go back for a longer stay.

Wonderful weekend

This property is gorgeous and really clean, well maintained. The owners have thought of everything- all the creature comforts! We loved it and highly recommend. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s like a magazine.

Lovely home

Family met here for Thanksgiving and we all loved the place. Large bedrooms and baths. Great room/Kitchen combo had everything we needed and more. We walked a short way to the C&O towpath each day to enjoy the wildlife along the river.

Nice place!

Property was as described and even stocked with drinks and snacks! Everything needed was close by. Had fun riding the trails with our e bikes! Would certainly recommend this place.

Beautiful Property just minutes from downtown

The owners of the property were great to deal with and communicate with. Residence was beautiful with the owner’s attention to detail ensuring you had everything you needed. One of the nicest VRBO houses we have stayed at. Owner’s did a very nice job with the small details when it came to the interior. Highly Recommended!

Well maintained home, good hospitality!

We loved the location of this property because it was quiet and surrounded by trees. It is far enough into the woods yet close enough to conveniences and shopping. We really appreciated the hospitality of Mike and Brenda stocking the home with plenty of snacks and paper products for use during our stay.

This was one of the best vacation homes we have stayed at! The hosts were very attentive to details…. lots of supplies, linens, and special touches. It was nice to have someone greet us on arrival and show us all necessities, such as working TV, fireplace and grills. His 15 minute tour saved us hours of trying to figure out how to work things! The view is beautiful, and you are minutes from the river and downtown. We did a Murder Mystery train ride which is well worth it! We will be back!!!

We had a fantastic stay! The location was exactly what we were looking for—quiet, private, and secluded, with no other houses in sight. The property was spotless inside and out, and it was obvious that it is very well maintained.There were only two of us during this trip, but the home has plenty of space and would be perfect for a larger family or group. The three spacious primary bedrooms are ideal for multiple adults, and we especially appreciated the cushy bathrobes provided in each room. The recently remodeled bathrooms were beautiful, and we enjoyed the foosball table, fire pit (with firewood included), and the cornhole boards.The only thing that was a little different was that the owners personally check guests in and out, so you'll need to schedule an arrival and departure time with them. It wasn't a major issue, and they are very flexible with the timeframe.Overall, this is an outstanding property in a peaceful setting, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Very nice place to stay. Communication with Mike and Brenda was great. Would have loved to stay longer. Lots of things to do in and around Cumberland. M and B had lots of pamphlets for area, had water and snacks for us. We had a great time at this house. If you're in that area, try to rent this home. Good to meet you Mike.
