Great stay with family

This was our fourth stay in the Destiny by the Sea area. We love the convenience of staying so close to the beach. This was a nice house and provided plenty of room for our kids and grandchildren.

Great location, property, and service

Had a great time at this property in gated community. Steps to the beach with tons of stuff to do in the area. Property management team was great, proactive with communications.

Overall, the house was as beautiful as the pictures shown it to be. Definitely high class and beautifully located. The only negative part of the home is the amount of stairs and the four bunk beds located in the master bathroom. Owners were extremely kind and helpful. I would definitely cone back if in Destin.

Beautiful home and area

Very spacious, loved the master bath. We didn't realize the bunk bed room was in the bathroom area but we were able to make it work.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was nice but the pictures online does not truly depict the layout properly. The bunk room is in what was the master bathroom closet so there is no privacy. Also there was a lot of stairs so not friendly to elderly or disabled. Also the air conditioning on the 3rd floor master bedroom did not work so it was hot.

Decent House, Terrible Customer Service

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice and conveniently located. However, the customer service from FunVacay was below average. During our 7-day stay, we had two (2) separate occasions where workers came to the home, once unannounced. There was an insurance adjustor that walked into every room while we were staying there to take pictures (somewhat strange on the timing). We, also, had a visitor who stated they were there to change AC filters in the middle of our stay. Why this could not be completed on our check in/check out day is beyond me. Neither of these inconveniences were dealt with properly by the host. Even when we asked to check in 15 minutes early (as every house around of us was had people checking in early, they would not accommodate. Considering the inconveniences we were forced to deal with, you would think the host would reciprocate. I have never given a rating this low on VRBO but I felt obligated to mention this to future guests. There is a chance that you will have unexpected guests show up who take pictures of your clothes, etc. while you are staying here.

Thank you for staying at Palazzo by the Sea. We are terribly sorry for your experience with the dryer but want you to know the owner has replaced both the washing machine and the dryer, now both are brand new. We hope you give us another chance to experience a wonderful vacation.
