Step back in time and experience the charm of our lovingly restored 1925 bungalow, nestled in the heart of the Historic Bradenton River District. Just one mile from vibrant downtown Bradenton and a short drive to the powdery white sands of Anna Maria Island, this cozy retreat is perfectly situated for both relaxation and adventure.

Our home is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy the convenience of a full kitchen with pantry essentials, coffee and tea, plush bath towels, and curated toiletries. We also provide beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and even a grill and smoker with tools for laid-back cookouts. A washer/dryer, hair dryer, and iron are available for your convenience.

Hop on a bike or take a short drive to explore downtown Bradenton, the scenic Riverwalk, and the colorful Village of the Arts—all offering fantastic dining and unique local shops. Sports lovers will appreciate being close to IMG Academy and McKechnie Field (LECOM Park), home of spring training baseball. Nature enthusiasts can explore nearby preserves like Robinson Preserve, with miles of trails, kayaking, and yoga at The Nest. Several public-access golf courses, tennis, and pickleball courts are also just minutes away.

And when it’s time to unwind, the beautiful beaches and laid-back coastal towns of Anna Maria Island are only 15 minutes away.

Beautiful and quaint house; lovely host.This house has so much charm and is located in the perfect spot in Bradenton. To the west, the beaches and islands, to the east, downtown (with a wonderful farmers market on Saturdays).We would definitely stay here again. The house has all we needed, including a wonderful sunroom off the master bedroom.And Karen is truly a special kind of person; warm, kind, and helpful. Unique and perfect as a host.

Perfect Spot

This was a lovely, little home nestled in the perfect spot between Sarasota and Parrish where many of my friends and family reside. My family and I were in need of nothing, because the owners have thought of everything from beach chairs to sunblock. They even have a book full of suggestions on places to dine and excursions to take around the beautiful "Friendly City." We would definitely stay there again.

Cutest little getaway house

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was super clean and cute. We were only about 15 minutes from Anna Maria Island which was so convenient. Karen was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend :)

Our overall experience was great. The only complaint is that the bedrooms were pretty dusty especially behind tvs and baseboards. The small bathroom floor could have used a little more attention. I know we paid a cleaning fee. I think the owner needs to double check whoever cleans for her.

As a native of Bradenton, I spent my childhood soaking up the sun and sand on the stunning beaches of Anna Maria Island or playing on the playground at the nearby Lewis Park. James, originally from Belfast, Ireland, and I crossed paths there, and we’re now excited to be splitting time between Northern Ireland and sunny Florida in the near future. Just a mile from downtown Bradenton, we loved being close to local shops, restaurants, and the riverwalk—while still enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of a tree-lined, historic neighborhood. A short drive takes us to the breathtaking trails of Robinson Preserve and the sugar-sand beaches of Anna Maria Island. This home felt like the perfect place to slow down, stay inspired, and feel rooted in Florida’s natural beauty and history.
