Cozy Cottage close to the Harbor and Beach!

A perfect get away for 2! Brookings, Oregon is 6 miles north of the California border and is a central point for visiting numerous wilderness areas, including the Kalmiopsis Wilderness area, Loeb State Park, Harris Beach State Park, Jedidiah Smith State Park and the Redwood National Forests.

In the summer months you can take a trip up the Rouge River on one of the Mail Boat tours. Or spend time sea kayaking up the Chetco River while you watch for wildlife. Take a walk along one of the many beachs. It’s hard not to find yourself amazed by the simple beauty that surrounds you. Brookings is famous for storm watching in the winter months. Be sure to catch the whales as they migrate in the winter and spring months.
Like fishing? Take a fishing trip on one of the deep sea fishing boats. Visit Loeb State Park and take a hike through the Myrtle Wood trees. Whether you just want a relaxing day in the sun while you catch up on your reading or a day full of adventure.

This is a ‘hometown’. I grew up in Brookings. My brother and sister still live in the area, so this was a place to stay in order to visit family. As well as walk the beaches.

Ideal

Sea’s The Day has everything we need to experience the best vacations to one of our favorite destinations. The location is ideal. The proximity to beaches restaurants and stores makes it perfect for our needs. It’s a very well maintained setup that we plan on keeping in our rotation for coast getaways.

Great Getaway

We were very pleased with the accommodations at Seas The Day. It was more spacious than the pictures portrayed. It was very clean and well laid out. The proximity to all the things we like to do in the Brookings area is perfect for us. Overall, very much appreciated.

Very clean and comfortable! Showers were great, hot and good pressure. TV is too small for the living space. Overall perfect spot for us.

The house is cozy and clean. It’s so nice to come back to after a day at the beach or visiting neighbor towns. We sat on the patio and had pizza and wine. Very relaxing.
