Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was very nice and clean. Kitchen has everything you could wish for. Master bed was super comfy. Close to the restaurants on the island. Brooks team was super helpful and the guide was great for all info.Not a huge deal but note for elderly visitors. Elevator was super slow and pool being on top floor meant no bathrooms at beach level. Had to go up to unit to use restroom or up to pool when sitting on the beach.

Perfect Beach Stay

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Area is nice and quiet and not overcrowded. Condo has everything you could possibly need. Chairs and umbrella definitely a plus. Would stay here again if I cane back to area.

Great condo

Check in and out was super easy. Great view of the beach. Loved the chair service. Condo was clean and comfortable. Concierge was efficient and called me to let me know that early check in was possible. We will be back!

The description is accurate regarding the amenities and how easy it is to get to activities.Daily, long walks on the beach were amazing. The Boardwalk at Okaloosa Island is about a 1.5 mile walk via the beach. A great way to start the day! The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of clean bath towels available, plenty of hangers in the closets, as well as a hairdryer in each bathroom. We will definitely use this same unit again when we return for another reunion. We loved it!For future guests, just be aware this isn’t the type of rental that has spices & oils available for cooking. You need to purchase all of that as well as dishwasher & laundry soap if you plan on doing more than a load of each.We were fortunate enough to meet the owner of the property and tell her in person how much we loved her place and how well she has kept it updated over the years. Cheers to more years of staying on Okaloosa Island!

Absolutely perfect

The condo was exactly as described and was perfect for my family of 4. The proximity to the beach was amazing. This will definitely be my #1 pick next time we come. If i had to pick one thing to improve on id say the bathrooms could be updated (showers) but they worked fine with good pressure and its not really a big deal. The beds were comfortable. We had an amazing trip from TN.

Difficult to open and close. The beach service needs some coaching about customer service and who is the the customer. We raised our umbrella up about foot so we wouldn’t hit our head. The young man came over and told us his boss told him he had to lower the umbrella. What?

Best Florida Vacation

Property was exactly as listed. Perfect location with low volume condo on both sides. Left beach access easy and no issues with crowding. Condo was immaculate with plenty of space for family and all furniture and appliances were in perfect working order. Beach chair service was perfect addition to rental and the city cleans beach daily for perfect white sand and water that is crystal clear. Close enough to Destin for entertainment off the beach but removed from crowds for full relaxation. Will definitely stay again!

This person is an absolute pro at her job. Thank you heather!!! I wanted for nothing when it came to kitchen utensils and appliances!!! We had plenty of towels for our stay. The condo itself is perfect with upgrades wise choices for comfort and decor. We will definitely want this rental in the future. Brooks and Shorey are the best managers!!! They are always a delight to speak to and always on to of any issues. Thank you so much for our great relaxing time!!!

Nice and clean rental

I have no complaints about the rental unit itself. It was probably the cleanest rental that we have ever had! Beautiful ocean view and easy walk to the beach. Our only issue was the building construction. We were made aware by the property manager that the parking lot was under construction, but we’re told it shouldn’t be any kind of inconvenience, just a little messy. The only issue we found with this was having to walk over dirty painters tarps trying to get in and out of the building. However, several of the other units were also being renovated, which led to significant noise and mess. The internet was disconnected several times. The mess wouldn’t have been such a big deal if we didn’t have a toddler who picked up a razor blade, paint chips and a screw that were left laying in the walkway.

Awesome views!

Beautiful place to stay for anyone looking to get away on the water without extreme crowds!! Wonderful stay with 2 infants! The rooftop pool was such a bonus!

Clean, stocked and cute!

This condo is super cute, super clean and had everything we needed for our beach vacay. There were plenty of towels and extra trash bags so I didn’t have to use any I brought. Plenty of storage if you like to unpack all your stuff. The kitchen had every utensil necessary and was modern. The balcony was the perfect size to have the family out in the mornings or evenings and gaze at the crashing waves. We would have liked a few more blankets but that didn’t make it a negative a stay at all. The master toilet/shower room is cramped but it fulfilled its purpose and you aren’t in there long anyway. Highly recommend using the Explorie options available to you as we LOVED the Cattywampus dolphin/snorkeling tour. We also never had an issue getting the beach chairs provided which was so great. The condo next door is closed for renovations so maybe that will make it busier once it opens. The rooftop pool was different, fun and clean. It was quiet during our stay as well. The property manager called to let us know we could check in early but we weren’t there yet but that was nice. I totally recommend this property!

Always a Great Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been staying at Gulfside for 20+ years. It's always relaxing and enjoyable. Love the ocean views, the rooftop pool, easy access to the beach and ratio of beach to occupant.One issue we did have was another occupant in 103 smoking on the balcony. I'm not sure if that's allowed, but it limited our use of our balcony due to the smell. Also, one of the occupants of Dune Pointe on the first floor played loud music all day and into the night (past 11 p.m.) The pool filter wasn't running for some reason and the water needed it. A little buggy.
