Family getaway perched on a bluff between Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park and quaint villages. Relax on spacious patios, attractive landscape, grill and dining areas overlooking unparalleled lake views. Indoors, experience a comfortable, high-quality home with a full kitchen with granite countertops, bathrooms with spacious, marble showers, and a large soaking tub. Gas fireplace, large dining area, and laundry. 240 steps to private beach access on Lake Michigan. NO WEDDINGS or PARTIES. 3 bedrooms upper level share 1 large full bathroom with double sink and soaking tub, 1 bedroom main level with full bathroom with shower, family room in lower level with 2 full-sized futons and full bathroom with shower. Allergen free indoor environment. No smoking. No pets. No weddings. Beach not suitable for boats.

Wonderful stay!!! The home is beautiful and very well appointed. Instructions were easy and clear. The house itself is lovely, but the real star of the show is the scenery. My goodness the views were amazing!! We thoroughly enjoyed the lake and the landscaping. If we visit the area again, we would definitely want to stay here again.

Amazing again!

Staying in this incredible house with 4 generations of our family has become a yearly tradition. Jill is a great host, the house is magnificent, the property is stunning with amazing sunrises and sunsets and the Leelanau Peninsula is unmatched for beauty. Can’t wait to return next year!

A perfect property and home to enjoy the "Caribbean of the North". Overlooking the Manitou Islands with a clear view of Pyramid Point is nothing less than spectacular. The home is wonderfully crafted. The layout is splendid for sharing time with friends and family. So grateful for this generous offering. Well thought out with all the necessary home features for cooking and sharing meals. I'd return in a minute.

Spectacular Week

Ten members of our family enjoyed an incredible week at this beautiful property in Leland, MI. The location was perfect. Everything in the house was in pristine condition. Wonderful place to stay. Access to Lake Michigan was a real bonus. We are hoping to come back to this property in the future.

Serenity Indeed!

Everything about this house was perfect for our 3-generation family - the views, the landscaping, birdsong, wildflowers along the road, outdoor living spaces, kitchen set up and sunsets. The owners were responsive to early inquiries and provided a safe and clean space. Leland and surroundings towns are just a short drive away.

Family gathering

We had a great stay at Serenity. Loved waking up to the sunrise over Lake Leelanau and sunset over Lake Michigan. The house was beautiful and comfortable with a smart layout for indoor and outdoor gathering. Quiet neighborhood but very convenient to get to town. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful

What a fantastic property and location! Breathtaking views on all sides - just a fabulous setting for a vacation retreat. Only suggestions I would give are 1) if you have small children you need to watch them closely in the backyard given the steep dropoff and 2) if you rent bikes, rent e-bikes as the area is super hilly!

Serenity in every way !

3 generations , our 4th stay here . The way the trees frame sunsets over Lake Michigan melts all stress away each evening . So many lovely spots on the property to appreciate the landscaping and views . The house has lots of thoughtful touches to accommodate and entertain all ages . Truly a special spot . We will be back for our fifth time !

Beautiful Comfort

We had a wonderful week long stay at Serenity. The home is so comfortable and the views are breathtaking! Our family and friends had a great time. Patio meals, yard games, and just watching the sunsets were are favorite things to do! It is also very close to the town of Leland, better known as Fishtown, which we really enjoyed. Glen Arbor and Sutton's Bay were fun little towns to visit too!

I’d like to find something negative to say, as I don’t want to find it booked on “our week”, but truth is, this is the ONLY place we’ll stay. When it’s not available, we don’t take a vacation.

Beautiful home with incredible views

This is a great home, perched on a bluff with incredible views of lake Michigan to the west and Lake Leelanau to the East. Beautiful landscaping to match the amazing views. The house is perfect. It was very clean, the beds are great, the kitchen well-stocked and a great area to gather with the family, inside and outside. It is only a few minutes to downtown Leland and Vans Beach is a very short drive. We definitely will return!

Amazing again!

The home and property are incredible. Sits on a bluff. Sunrise over lake Leelanau and sunset over Lake Michigan. Beautiful landscaping. Minutes to Leland. The house is spotless, huge and has everything you need. Comfortable beds, 3 big bathrooms with showers and master with a large tub too! The kitchen and living area is perfect. Jill is a great host. Booked again for next summer.

Another great week at this home!

Our family's 2nd week in the past 3 summers to this home was as fantastic as the first trip. The view cannot be overstated it is a truly rare treat to behold morning, noon and night. 5 min drives to great beaches on both Lake Michigan and Lake Leelanau as well as short trips to Fishtown and downtown Leland make the location just perfect. The house itself is warm and comfortable and plenty of room, games, books, etc. in the finished downstairs to keep the kids entertained while the adults relax. Thanks Jill for sharing such a wonderful place to vacation we'll be back.

Serenity gardens!

We had a wonderful week. What a fabulous house and amazing location. The house was perfect for our four generation family group. Our three year old grandson went out and picked raspberries for his breakfast every morning, and he loved climbing the ladder and playing the "Lego loft." My 93 year old father was grateful for the main floor bed and bath and the wonderful views in every direction. Everyone who stopped by marveled at the wonderful gardens and landscaping, and enjoyed the bees busily working the lavender plants. A few of the hardier souls climbed down to the beach (and back up!). We had a small problem, but Adam responded immediately, and it was fixed very soon after. We hated to leave -- what a beautiful place.
