Property was super cuteIt's a 3 story townhome located on the water/ bay. Was very comfortable and clean. A lot of room to spread out. Living room was spacious, with a large kitchen table. Rooms are spread out on all 3 floors. Good set up to give everyone a little space. Kitchen was spacious and easy to cook in We lived sitting out on the upper deck amd having drinksEasy spot for fishing guide to pick us up from the water as well

The property was very clean and nice. The location was pretty good. It was surrounded by a lot of other condos. While it claims to be "pet friendly" there is zero grass. The closest grass is a few blocks away and it is covered with painful stickers. It would be nice to have some sort of grass or even turf. The amenities are ok. No frills or extras. We could have used a few more towels. Overall, a nice stay. Very quiet and peaceful.

Enjoyed the house and the fishing. Would recommend it to anyone. The railing out back was a little wobbly so just be aware of that.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of six stayed here for the Beach to Bay Marathon. The location was perfect for us. It's great for large groups with plenty of bathrooms (perfect for us with five girls and one guy). The deck provided relaxing views of the marina. The bedrooms were big. While the bunk room is cute and looks functional... it's for small children and the space is tight in between the beds. The amenities are pretty sparse so bring your own. they allot one towel and wash rag per person. There are no coffee filters, salt or pepper but there is a good array of pots and pans.

Having a boat dock, fish cleaning station and being near the ICW were all perks for us. The beds were all comfy and the kitchen properly equipped. We stayed for 30 days for and play. The property was clean and the perfect location. The views were amazing! Nothing better than having your morning coffee outside by the water. I will definitely book this property again.

Overall nice stay

5 adults and a few dogs, overall a great comfortable stay. No "amenities" like some other places we rented (I.e. general spices, coffee pods to get us started, etc) but market close by that was thankfully open when we arrived late (after 9pm) Thursday night. They provide only 1 towel and 1 hand towel per person and for women who want to wash their hair, you'll want to bring an extra full size towel. Stairs from 1st floor to 2nd floor are STEEP so our older adults needed help navigating those. Just be aware. A/c worked well, kitchen stocked with pans and pots, outdoor area was super nice (bring an umbrella for patio as the sunrise shines right on you in morning and gets HOT quick without shade). No grass for dogs, you'll need to walk them down the street to the park. Overall nice stay

Amazing weekend getaway

Place was perfectly located. Close to the beach and we were able to fish off the dock. Only caught a catfish but it was still fun. Swam in the canel. Will return someday. Only issue was the kitchen sink would not turn on as the battery pack needed new batteries. They fixed it fast so all is good.

We went swimming, wading, boating (our boat), beaching, biking (borrowed), and much more. We sunbathed, napped, read books, and enjoyed our family. What a great place and surrounding location! Plenty of space for all of us to hang out outside as well as inside. The back dock and its proximity to the water was perfect. The upper deck was lovely at night. The other decks were great too. One was shaded for reading (and napping!).

Good Location but an Issue

Reviewer Comments: My stay was great except that there was no way to lock the unit from the canal side, so Padre Escapes wanted us to leave the door open and not lock the unit while we would be out all day fishing. They didn't care that I mentioned that we were uncomfortable leaving the house open and our stuff could have possibly been stolen because they didn't do anything to rectify it. They said they would send someone the next day, but they never sent anybody for the length of our 5 night stay. The back garage was unable to be opened because the handle was not working it was in a locked position, so we had to put a paint can under the garage door to leave it open in order to get into the front door of the condo. Such an inconvenience during our whole stay after coming in from our boat slip on the canal side. The back door did have an electronic keypad door lock but it was not working. If it had been working it would have made our stay more enjoyable, more convenient and secure.
