Four Parking Spaces

Across the street from the beach and a short stroll to the town of Seaside, Nightcap Cottage, is a two-story bungalow nestled in a shady arbor of trees, with a definite “Old Florida” feel. Enjoy this beach oasis located on Scenic 30A in Seagrove Beach or explore numerous shopping and dining options, enjoy a bike ride, discover natural habitats, or just vacation in the waves with family, building sandcastles and comparing seashell treasures. And did we mention that your four-legged family member is welcome here, too?

This vacation home has an open living room and kitchen area for comfy family gatherings. Sink in the comfy sectional sofa so that groups can enjoy time together watching TV or sharing stories from the day. A lovely rattan dining area adjoins the kitchen bar appointed with barstools and well-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances. When beach towels and bathing suits accumulate, a full-size laundry area is available for your convenience.

An outside storage area is stocked with four beach chairs and a beach umbrella for your enjoyment, and a picnic area and sunning patio is also part of the property’s extra benefits. After a day at the beach, enjoy the private outdoor shower. There’s also plenty of space for parking.

The living room and each bedroom have smart TVs and/or cable. There are two full baths, one with a step-in shower. The first floor has a king bedroom, and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa. On the second floor, you’ll find two bedrooms with king beds and one quaint sleeping porch with four twin beds. Need to get a little work done, sneak away and use the desk on the private enclosed first floor porch.

So, once you’re comfortably settled in this home away from home, lift a glass in anticipation of all the memories you’ll make at Nightcap Cottage.

The property needs to be updated. There was only one usuable beach chair. The front door lock was stuck and we couldn't use the frint door for 3 days. There was a pile of junk in the back storage area and the frint porch chairs were broken

Senior Trip

We chose this property for its location because parking can be difficult at Seaside. We were able to park our vehicles and not use them again the entire week. Everything was close enough to walk, bike or ride a golf cart. We didn’t have to take a bunch of stuff with us to the beach because we could just walk to the house to get food and drinks. If you are petty about noise this may not be the house for you. There is a lot of traffic and teens on the street which did not bother us since we also have young adult children. You do have to walk through a bedroom to get to a bathroom so plan accordingly when picking your room. There was plenty of room to park 2 vehicles and 2 golf carts. We could have parked more vehicles there if needed. I do wish there was a covered porch area to sit outside when it rained and a half bath that was not in a bedroom, but at least you have hot water in the outdoor shower. We would definitely rent this house again.

Great location & layout

This house was perfect for what we needed. Master bedroom downstairs & 3 rooms upstairs to keep the teens at bay.

The beach chairs were in great condition. Just a 10-minute walk to or a 5-minute bike ride Seaside. I highly recommend using FunVacay and this rental.

Great location

The location of this property was excellent. The walkway to the beach is right across the road and it is only a pleasant 1/2 mile walk to the middle of Seaside. It had plenty of beds and room for my family of 5. This is an older house, so if you are looking for that fancy Seaside beach house this one is not for you. However, it is very clean and well maintained. We would stay there again.
