Vintage is used often - sometimes referring to the 1990s. This property has an eclectic mix of 1920s through to 2000s. Elegant crockery from England. Furniture of a bygone era. Many touches that would be right at home for Miss Fisher's Murder Mystery. There is even a chicken in backyard.Very easy hosting for a dog. Grassed front yard with large paved rear courtyard. Walking distance to lovely cafe - Drive.

This charming historic property is full of antiques and character, but unfortunately the modern amenities are not well maintained. The property was also not properly cleaned, and the combination of poor upkeep and cleanliness issues made our stay unenjoyable. I would suggest future guests consider a shorter stay rather than an extended visit

Myself, my daughter and her two friends all had a wonderful stay for two nights. Beds are super comfortable and the heating kept us toasty on cold days and nights. We appreciated all the little attentions to detail and the gorgeous decor. The house is simply stunning. Lots of rooms to spread out in. Thanks for a wonderful short stay.

I am a stylist, author, musician & history lover. Using my nationally awarded styling skills, I have created a space where guests come to relax, unwind & step back in time, to when life was simpler. I count myself as blessed to be just the fourth custodian of this exquisite home and am looking forward to sharing its story & this pretty city with those who come to stay at Llanfyllin House or be married at Ballarat Marriage Registry.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Golden Point is Ballarat's oldest suburb and this beautiful home was built during the height of the goldrush by a prominent local businessman & politician, reflecting all the spoils that were possible as a result of the gold rush.

Having had only 3 previous owners, the home remains largely as it was originally built and has been painstakingly furnished true to the era, so that guests may have a more immersive experience of what it was like to live in Ballarat at that time - right down to the chickens in the backyard.

To ensure guest comfort, modern conveniences have not been overlooked but have been added as discretely as possible

この宿泊施設の特徴

This property has a long and esteemed history. The home remains in near original condition and is decorated as a closely as possible to the style of the era, reflecting the lifestyle of those who were the previous owners. Llanfyllin House is the perfect place to step back in time and enjoy life as it was during a simpler time.
