Lake Apartment - Metres to Lake Wendouree

Holidaying or on business this two bedroom fully furnished self contained apartment is the perfect environment that you will want to come home to.

Lake Apartment is a two bedroom apartment in a fantastic position, so close to the lake and very handy to the CBD. It has a well appointed kitchen, dining area, a spacious sitting and television room, bathroom with bath and separate shower and a separate laundry area. Bedding configuration is one king size bed and one queen bed. There is a television in each bedroom.

The sitting room has a magnificent window fitted with double roller blinds providing all the privacy you require while not obstructing the view out. Lake Apartment has a small private courtyard area with BBQ and undercover parking for a small car. Generally parking is on the street or in driveway.

Lake Apartment is central and within about 50 metres of Lake Wendouree with restaurants and recreational areas a short stroll.

Lake Apartment is non smoking and pets are not allowed.

Things to see and do whilst staying at Lake Apartment Ballarat

Whilst staying at Lake Apartment why not explore Ballarat's historic buildings, Ballarat Fine Art Gallery which houses the country's largest and finest regional collection of art, visit her Majesty's Theatre circa 1858, and mainland Australia's oldest continuously operating theatre where concerts, plays, live shows and the famous South Street competitions are held.

Visit the Ballarat Tramway Museum near the Botanical Gardens and of course not to be missed is the Botanical Gardens dating back to trees planted in 1863. Whilst at the Botanical Gardens view the statuary including the Prime Minister's Avenue featuring bronze busts of every Australian Prime Minister. In the historic statuary pavilion you will see the marble statues including the famous Flight From Pompeii.

Discover the range of upmarket eateries dotted throughout the city's tree lined streets, the colonial history on the Heritage Walking Trail. Spend time pottering through antique shops, picnic in the gardens, check out the cemeteries with graves of Stockade heroes and early pioneers. A fascinating Chinese graveyard can be found in the cemetery at the top of Lydiard Street. Why not join the many people who take a six kilometre walk around Lake Wendouree (starting to look like its old self again with the water returning) with many eateries / bars to stop for a coffee or ale along the way

I was so thankful to Pam and her thoughtfulness. Nothing was too much trouble. I was in Ballarat visiting my husband in hospital and Pam certainly helped to make it as comfortable as possible. She was easy to communicate with over a few needs I had. The apartment was convenient and extreemly comfortable.

A Great Stay in an Excellent Location

This property was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Thanks Pam. My only criticism is that the Stayz website is not user friendly, which made checking into the property more difficult that it needed to be.

Lake Apartment

Lovely little unit only meters from the lake. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need including a coffee machine. Beds comfortable, heating works well and most importantly it was spotlessly clean! Owner was kind enough to arrange a light to be left on when they knew I would not arrive until after dark.

This is a nice unit very near the lake and close to a couple of good eating establishments, easy parking, excellent heating system and plenty of room. We would definitely stay again.

Its very excellent place close by lake it need some reparing like light switch in bathroom was lose

Toilet roller was coming lose i was very concern it was going fall apart like light switch in bathroom needs be repair and toilet roller needs be repaired was just have concern wasnt have bit defected it kitchen and lounge dining was dining was updated had nice cabinets top and bottom had its nice furniture and rug cabinets storage for kettle toaster was with roller door yes cabinet with roller door and i was very impress with updated to stuff and brand new stainless fridge plenty interesting painting yes artwork very interesting in place it three television thank you for the stay

Amazing

Pam was amazing and very accommodating for us. We cannot thank her enough for her assistance with it all. It was a beautiful house in the perfect spot right next to the lake. Will definitely stay again.

Well presented and good value for moneyh

We stayed for 3 nights and the property really suited our needs. The host was very helpful and quickly responded to our requests when we were booking. Location was excellent and we found a coffee shop just around the corner, Eclecticfoods, so that made for easy breakfasts and afternoon refreshments. A happy time and a pleasing location. Would be on top of our list to use again.

Perfect location

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. A very convenient location and lovely neighbourhood. We had gorgeous weather so were able to stroll around the lake but also just a short drive from the main stretch. The only downside was the couch cushions slipped when we sat on it but there are other comfy seats. We will definitely be keen to stay there again on our next visit to Ballarat :)

We loved how well stocked the kitchen drawers were and the staples in the pantry. Also the bathroom supplies were great. The garden area was nice for a coffee outside and being so close to lake for our boys doing rowing camp was excellent A bonus was the cafe I discovered at the end of our street ! We would have liked 2 single beds in second bedroom as twin boys - one slept on pull out couch which was comfy but lacked privacy for a teenager - we could have let them sleep in master bedroom where beds could be separated (we think) We will definitely be returning in December for next 3 day rowing camp - thank you

Lovely unit and great location. Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Unfortunately the couch cushions kept slipping forward and the armchairs were not comfortable either.
