Very clean and fit our needs. The ongoing construction was the only downside but the property itself was awesome!

This rental was beautifully decorated. It had great access to the beach. We truly enjoyed our stay here and while we have stayed many places over the years my son said this is the place we should always book.

Beautiful condo with great amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Dancing Wave was an incredible experience. The beach access, pool, and spa were all top-notch. Our condo was spotless and exactly as pictured when we arrived. Although some units were undergoing renovations, it didn’t affect our stay at all. We were just a short walk to the beach, where we spent most of our afternoons. There are plenty of wash stations available for when you return. The condo is quiet at night, and the staff was incredibly kind. There are also visitor spots in the garage to park out of the sun. We would definitely come back and stay again. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We are so thrilled to hear that Dancing Wave delivered such an incredible experience from start to finish. Keeping the condo spotless and exactly as pictured is something we take a lot of pride in, so hearing that means the world to us. We are also glad to hear that the ongoing renovations in some units did not impact your stay at all, as we always want every guest to feel comfortable and undisturbed. It sounds like you got to enjoy everything the property has to offer, from the beach and pool to the spa and those convenient wash stations after a day in the sand. We love that the garage visitor spots kept your car out of the sun, too! We would absolutely love to welcome you back to Dancing Wave again soon and thank you so much for the kind words!

Great area of the beach with a very short walk. Rooms are very nice and the kitchen is well stocked. You will need to rent umbrellas on the beach though.

Great find for reasonable price

I typically stay at the Destin West Resort. However, the bed situation for 2 and 3 bedrooms doesn't work for adults. I was very pleased with the condo, location, and the beach wasn't crowded at all. Will definitely book here again.

We had the best stay! First trip as a family of 5. Master bedroom with king bed and large tv and shower and a large closet with an air vent for a pack and play for our newborn baby. Den was comfy with large TV. Bunk bed room was large enough for a pack and play for our 1 year old. Other bedroom was super comfy with a king that our 3 yo stayed in. We specifically appreciated and loved the bolt latch on the front door to ensure safety for our kiddos. All TVs were updated and “smart” with apps etc. kitchen very well stocked. Keurig, coffee maker, toaster, AND AIR FRYER. AC worked well. Very clean. Beautiful condo. Comfy furniture on balcony and we enjoyed sitting out there watching sunsets and storms! Pillows and beds were great. Master bed could’ve been comfier with an matress pad but maybe I’m just getting old! Lots of amenities and extra blankets and luggage racks. Easy walk down stairs from 2nd floor to 1st floor and pool is steps away as well as the boardwalk to the beach. Pool has a nice bathroom and shower. Lots of hoses on beach boardwalk. Condo has a nice area by front door with bench and plenty of room where we left our beach wagon daily! It was the perfect condo for our family and will continue to be perfect for years to come. We will be back!!!!

Thank you so much for this incredibly detailed and wonderful review! We are so thrilled to hear that your first family trip of five was such a success and that the condo was the perfect fit for everyone including your precious little ones. It warms our hearts to know that the layout worked so beautifully for your family with a newborn, a one year old and a three year old all sleeping comfortably in their own spaces. That bolt latch on the front door for the safety of your kiddos is exactly the kind of thoughtful detail we love providing for our guests! We are also so glad the fully stocked kitchen with the Keurig, coffee maker, toaster and air fryer hit the mark and that the smart TVs, comfortable furniture and balcony sunsets and storms made for such a memorable experience. We appreciate the honest feedback on the master mattress and will look into adding a mattress pad to make it even more comfortable for future guests! The easy pool and beach access, the hoses on the boardwalk and that perfect spot by the front door for your beach wagon are all those little details that really make a difference for a family stay and we love that it all came together so perfectly for you. We cannot wait to welcome your beautiful and growing family back again soon for many more years of wonderful stays!

This is our second year staying at dancing wave. We love the balcony and sipping coffee in the morning with a view of the boats gathering for the day. We love the Well appointed kitchen and the convenience of the location. It’s a short walk to the pool or beach, and shopping is very handy too. We had trouble with the toilets this year and it took management a few days to get there, but it was a holiday weekend. Otherwise, another perfect, week in Destin! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful condo!

Loved this Place

Beautiful Condo, great location! Beds, pillows and sheets were top notch -- very, very comfortable even in the bunkbed room. The only problem that we experienced was with other condo owners in the building. We were confronted several times about where we sat on the beach & we were asked to move several times.

Great location and property managers did great with communication.

This is the second time we have stayed in at Inlet Reef. We love the location, pool and beach. Beyond Blue was very helpful with communication, check in process and their helpful website. The condo was beautiful and kitchen was stocked nicely. Unfortunately, we had to pay for the chair service separately this time. We also were provided minimal toilet paper and trash bags so we had to run out a few times. The pool also closed during our stay for maintenance. Since it was a red flag day, it was pretty inconvenient. Not this condos fault or Beyond Blue but the communication from Inlet Reef and their home owners team was rude and borderline shady. The rooms did not fully accommodate 8 people. We had 7 and one had to sleep on the couch. Overall, great stay and the condo was beautiful.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! We're thrilled to hear you enjoyed the location, pool, beach, and that the condo itself met your expectations. We’re especially glad our team and website helped make your stay smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciate your notes about the supplies and chair service—while the beach service is managed by a third party, we understand how frustrating that change can be. We’ll also review our starter supply details to help future guests better prepare. We're sorry to hear about the unexpected pool closure and your experience with the Inlet Reef team—it’s disappointing when communication falls short, even outside of our control. Thank you again for staying with us—we’d love to host you again and hope your next visit is even better!

Perfect for Family w/kids!

We really enjoyed our stay- it was perfect for our family of 5- each kid had their own big bed and shared one bathroom and the parents had their own room and bathroom. The little kids loved that each of the bunk beds had their own TVs so they could watch what they wanted. The space is updated and clean- exactly what we were hoping for! Laundry is in the bunk bed room but that wasn’t an issue for us. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and eat in if you want. Proximity to the pool and beach were so close we didn’t need a wagon to carry anything and could run up for lunch without it feeling like a chore- especially only having to climb one flight of stairs. We enjoyed pickleball, too! Definitely recommend renting chairs for the beach because the actual beach space is limited if you don’t. You can rent online ahead of time and that is probably what we should have done since they almost ran out of spots for us when we got there. We also appreciated that the complex had a place where you can air up rafts and floats for the beach and the pool house restrooms were really nice. Loved our stay!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful and detailed review! We're thrilled to hear the layout worked perfectly for your family and that the kids enjoyed their own space (and TVs!) in the bunk beds. It’s great to know the updated space, well-stocked kitchen, and easy access to both the pool and beach made your stay even more enjoyable. We’re also glad you got to take advantage of the pickleball courts and found the extra touches—like the raft pump station and clean pool restrooms—convenient. And yes, beach chair rentals definitely help make the most of the limited shoreline—great tip for future guests! We’d love to welcome you back anytime!

Misleading Photos, Underwhelming Experience

The location of this rental was genuinely its best feature — convenient and close to everything we needed. Unfortunately, the condition of the property didn’t match the photos or our expectations. The bathrooms were very outdated, and one had a chipped wooden toilet seat that felt unsanitary. The kids’ room had sheets with visible stains, which was concerning. Most frustrating were the floors — they were so dirty that our 8-month-old had black palms and picked up hair just from crawling. I could list more issues, but I mainly want future renters to have a clear picture. This property has potential, but it needs serious attention to cleanliness and maintenance.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the convenient location, but we’re truly sorry that other aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We want to assure you that cleanliness is a top priority for us. Prior to your arrival, our team completed a full inspection, including confirming that all sheets had been changed, and we have documentation to support this. However, if anything was missed or not up to standard, we sincerely apologize — that’s not the experience we aim to provide. The property recently underwent a remodel, though it did not include the bathrooms. The current photos on our VRBO listing accurately reflect their condition, and we encourage guests to review them when booking. We appreciate your honest input and are committed to using this feedback to improve. Thank you again for staying with us.

The Dancing Wave

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Family enjoyed our stay at the Dancing Wave Condo in Destin. The owners of said condo kept it in pristine condition with the most luxurious accommodations. From the stainless steel appliances to the gorgeous cutlery and dishes, we were very impressed. The linens were lovely. The owners hadn’t quite finished renovating the bathrooms but once they finish they will be magnificent. Beyond Blue vacations disappointed me when it came to the informations they provided us. We never received parking passes for our two vehicles. The building manager wrote us a free parking pass for our stay even though it was her job to do so. Also the gate codes for the entire property that beyond blue gave us were incorrect. The building magnet was able to give me the codes on a sticky note to help make our stay more convenient. I reached out to beyond blue and they basically told me that those were the only codes they had so if they weren’t working it wasn’t their fault. All in all I loved to condo I just wished it was rented out by the owners themselves or a different rental company.
