I am grieved by such an untrue review and twisting of facts. In the five years renting our property, we have never encountered anything like this. Please refer to previous reviews to judge for yourself the type of relationship that we have with our renters and the value that we place on quality and excellent customer service. The renter prior to this one gave us a rating of excellent. The renter following this one e-mailed me upon arrival to say (this is a direct copy of her e-mail) "Your condo is so beautiful! I love how it is so spacious and clean". Our next renter is a return renter from early December. I regularly hear back from previous renters who wish to return. I cannot keep someone from saying whatever they want to say on a review but if you are concerned about the content, I can provide you with copies of correspondence and screen shots of texts showing that there was always a quick response to any request. We went to great lengths to please, running out to buy whatever supplies would make her happy. We even installed the TV service that she wanted, at our cost. She was bothered by the cotton sheets having wrinkles so we used synthetic sheets that were soft, wrinkle free and new. The claim of there being blood stains are false; we have the photos to prove it. Our mattresses are covered by the best protective, water and bed bug proof encasement covers. No report was made on the bedroom TV. The only unauthorized entry was made an hour after check out time. We replace bedding and towels every year as well as area rugs. The sofa is due and scheduled for reupholstery but it is a leather sofa so it is clean and germ free even if the leather is showing scratches and some staining due to sunscreen use. All loose pillows have removable washable covers. Monthly renters pay electric charges as stated in our ad, lease, and various e-mails exchanged prior to rental. The bill for the time of occupancy arrived a few days after the renter's departure. The only reason she was asked to pay an estimated amount was because she never paid us the agreed upon security deposit. The claim of threats are preposterous. My position on the electric amount was to just forget about it as it was not worth the aggravation. As I wrote to this renter prior to her departure, our reputation and doing what is right are more valuable than money. So I count my blessings that I have had 5 years of lovely wonderful renters who come and have the time of their lives.
