Set back from the bustle of Broad Street, you’d be hard-pressed to find another luxury cabin in Nevada City that offers as many must-haves as The Antler. Steps to downtown, situated directly on little Deer Creek, with a private driveway and on-site parking. A private wrap-around deck with a sunk-in hot tub. You may want to curl up to the romantic wood stove in the living room w/ a good book or settle in with a movie on the large flat screen. Dine al fresco while taking in the best creek views in town. With luxury prioritized, The Antler provides organic mattresses, down blankets and pillows, high-end linens, towels, and robes. Every texture just right.

An echo of minimal Scandinavian design allows for much of the art and beauty to be supplied by nature herself. The Antler is both refined and soothing, modern, and stream-lined while somehow remaining a cozy and warm cabin.

This place was amazing!! Only a couple of blocks from downtown restaurants. We did mornings at the river with the kids and then had dinner and ice cream in town with the kids. Made some great memories.

As advertised, cute place walking distance to downtown

Comfy beds, all the amenities you needed and a few minutes to bars, restaurants and shops. The town is super cute and close to a ton of dog friendly hiking trails.

We fully enjoyed our stay. Super clean and decor is lovely.Felt dog friendly....Clara loved it.Appreciated the safety with the gate on the deck.Only one thing that was a bit troublesome was the scratches on the non stick pans....I understand that is not a good thing health wise...I am careful about those things. Otherwise....all perfect..

Perfect Creekside Getaway

This property looked ordinary from the outside, but once we opened the doors and saw the incredible view and access to the lush backyard, creek and trees, we were hooked! With perfect walking distance to Nevada City's Historic Downtown, we barely needed to drive again until we left. Hot tub sitting with coffee each morning was a dream, and the cleanliness of the house made for a relaxing getaway. 5 Stars for sure.

Lovely and comfortable

We loved our stay here, and would absolutely book it again. The house is so cute and charmingly decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable home base. The view out the back windows is so pretty with all the trees and little creek, we saw lots of birds and butterflies, and even a couple of deer. It’s a very short walk to downtown with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. The owner was also very friendly and responsive, an overall great host.

Christmas in Nevada City

We had the most romantic, wonderful time. We’ve been married 38 years and this was by far the most memorable, and I’ll say it again, ROMANTIC Christmas week. Everything was absolutely perfect. The food in town was amazing no matter where we went. The weather was perfect. We had a cozy fire and listened to the creek outside. WONDERFUL!! Every moment was special. Thank you!!

Worth Every Penny

We were truly blown away by this little oasis in Nevada City. My husband and I stayed here with our baby and our dog while celebrating our anniversary and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the space. It was our first time visiting Nevada City and this was the perfect place to stay. It was literally a three minute walk into town, the whole place had doors opening out the deck and its gorgeous view, and the creek was absolute paradise. We loved being able to sit down there and soak in all that beauty! It felt like a really remote, quiet, peaceful abode while still being right on the edge of town with all of the restaurants, shops, and activities. We asked for a later checkout on the last day and the host made it happen no problem, too. We just loved it at The Antler and we’ll most definitely be back!
