Nice condo complex, unit does not meet expectations.

We enjoyed the location of the condo and the beautiful pool. The complex is nice and in a good location but the unit is not at all as described. It is definitely not "luxury," things are broken and furnishings are outdated. Kitchen furnishings are worn out and inadequate: pots and pans are scratched/burned/unusable, there are 2 drinking glasses and the rest shot glasses or whiskey glasses. And ZERO cleaning supplies provided: No dishwasher soap, no bars or soap or shampoo/conditioner. 1/2" of hand soap that ran out after a few days. No washing detergent or spare paper towels. No napkins. We were given 1 kitchen trash bag for our 9 day stay, yet given instructions that we had to take out our own trash and recycling. When we asked for dishwasher soap and spare trash bags we were told "go to Publix and buy your own." We were not able to wash dishes when we left since there was no soap, and owner threatened to take our security deposit since we left the unit with dirty dishes in the dishwasher. When we opened the blinds they fell apart, were held together by scotch tape and staples. Terrible quality, outdated, and very low-quality furnishings. Owner refused to communicate through VRBO and contacted us via text. Air conditioning unit was broken when we arrived, had to get it repaired while we were there. No check-in or check-out instructions were provided through the normal VRBO communication channels, owner required us to text him instead. No check-out instructions provided. Upon check-out, we were texted by owner trying to blame us for breaking furniture. We did not damage furniture, he threatened to keep our security deposit for a chair we did not break. This place is a scam, I do not recommend. Very low quality condo and they will try to steal your deposit when you check out.

What a shameless and dishonest people! And my first impression was that these are decent family. I was wrong! For my 15 years renting that condo, by far these ones the worse.. This is condo not a hotel, I do provide a lot to make guests comfortable - new furniture, good quality mattresses, TVs in each room, cable, wifi, local phone, new kitchen appliances and washer/dryer, even snacks and canned food stacked in the pantry! And the apartment is cleaned thoroughly before each check-in and yes, I communicate with all guests using personal devices - nothing wrong in it and all found it very convenient. It's true that I do not provide cleaning and paper supplies for the entire stay - only for a first day or two. And never ever any guest complained about it - everyone do shopping and buy whatever they need and like. Is that so terrible to spare 5 bucks for a pack of paper towels and dish soap? It even a shame to bring it up! How about bags with garbage left on the floor? Was it too difficult to take it outside into the dumpster?? Yes, the AC stopped working because of the main line clog - not my fault. But it was fixed within 2 hours!!! And yes - the leather on the bar stool got ripped, it was perfectly intact before their arrival. Yes, I claimed $50 out of $400 deposit to cover for the bar stools. But, now I see whom I'm dealing with - very cheap and dishonest folks. I will cancel my claim, I can buy the new bar stools. I will let that family keep their deposit, I can only imagine how they fight for every drop of dish soap or every piece of the toilet paper at their home. Would not recommend any host such guests!!!

Check-in was smooth and I received a prompt answer to several questions sent by text during my stay. Property location and neighborhood were excellent. Property does sleep six, as advertised, with two on the couch. It works for a family with small children, but I wouldn't want to try with six older (teens and adults) people. Also, the property wasn't supplied very well for six. There were only two rolls of toilet paper and two wash clothes (plenty of towels) available for a week-long stay. Overall, a good experience, even though we had to shop for some basic supplies.

Stay at Serenata

My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay. However we had to cut it short due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As a result we did not complete our full month stay returning to our permanent residence in Wisconsin. While we were there however, we found everything to meet all of our expectations.

Prüft die Sauberkeit vorher!!!

Noch nie haben wir ein so dreckiges (sorry, schmutzig würde es verharmlosen) und ungepflegtes Apartment gesehen. Badezimmer, Küche und alle weiteren Räume waren im gleichen Zustand. Das Kunstleder der Couch war durchgesessen und hatte Risse. An einem Stuhl im Esszimmerbereich klebte noch ein Kern einer Melone von einem Vormieter. Die Küchenschränke waren innen total verschmutzt. Tote Inskten, Wollmäuse. das komplette Programm. Der Vermieter vor Ort wollte eine Reinigungskraft schicken. Wir haben uns für den Auszug entschieden und auf eigene Kosten eine neue Unterkunft gesucht. Der Vermieter hat nach Diskussion ein Viertel der Kosten erstattet. Wir haben uns dort nicht wohl gefühlt. Eine Unverschämtheit, dass für ein Apartment in der sehr schlechten Qualität eine Kaution verlangt wurde. Ferienwohnungen Direkt werden wir definitiv nicht mehr nutzen weil das Vertrauen in seriöse Anbieter auf dieser Plattform bereits bei der ersten Buchung verlorengegangen ist.

Perfect!

It’s very good! Clean, comfortable, nice pool and secure. The bedrooms are completely separate, so you have a lot of privacy. The kitchen has everything what do you need to cook with. The host was very nice. It’s a perfect place to stay!

Condo tucked away on beautiful grounds- yet convenient to everything

We rented this condo to attend a family reunion and we invited our parents to stay with us. Both bedrooms are spacious with walk-in closets and private bathrooms. We shared a common space of living and dining area which was open to the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook a meal. We enjoyed coffee each morning on the screened lanai. Check in process was seamless. I would definitely stay here again.
