This particular property did not meet our expectation for the money spent. Here's a list of issues that we encountered as the week went on:House in general was dirty: couches and couch pillows were filthy; dirty dishes in the cabinet; grill was dirty and no way to clean it; bathrooms dirty. The shower on the main floor had electrical tape around the faucet to prevent changing the water temperature. Toilet on main floor grew a dirty, moldy ring inside as the week went on. There is no way a cleaning team had been there recently.Pool decking was horrible - leaves cluttered the cement skirt around the pool, which then ended up in the pool. It has been quite awhile since the pool area/especially the side of the house at the pool - has been power washed. The pool was cleaned mid-week and the pool itself then was great! But the surrounding cement skirting needed lots of attention. The dishwasher did not clean dishes - filter probably needs to be cleaned.Freezer set too cold - we could not find how to turn it down.We killed roaches in the kitchen and dining area - and saw several out on the deck at the kitchen level.None of the TVs worked properly initially - we called on this one item - not sure what the fix was, perhaps batteries in all the remotes - ??? No one followed up with us on this.Shuffleboard game on bottom floor was pitted and unusable. The house could be a great place, but needs a lot of attention to detail. To say the least, we were very disappointed.

Jane, thank you for staying with us at Sunny Side and for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re sorry the home did not meet your expectations or feel properly prepared for your stay. The concerns you described are not the level of care we want our guests to experience, and we understand why the condition of the home, pool area, and several maintenance items left you disappointed. Your comments have been shared with the appropriate housekeeping, maintenance, pool, and pest control teams for review and follow-up. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention. Your feedback helps us address concerns that impact our guests’ comfort and overall experience. With sincere appreciation, Bluewater Vacation Rentals 🌊☀️💙

Heather, we love this for you! There is nothing better than hearing our guests had the best week of vacation. Thank you so much for sharing that with us and for letting Bluewater be part of your beach getaway. We hope those vacation memories stay with you long after the last bit of sand has disappeared from your car mats, and we’d love to welcome you back for another wonderful week at the beach! Until your next beach escape, Bluewater Vacation Rentals 🌊☀️💙
