After we had booked we learned a lot of upgrades are planned. Those are much needed as the floors and blinds are in bad shape. Location is great with terrific ocean and beach views and access.

Host was responsive to all questions and the proximity to the beach was a total highlight! There was also a beach bar and restroom literally steps from the beach!

The apartment was in less than ideal condition. I get there was construction on the outside, but the inside was lacking considerably! The vertical blinds in the living room were broken and many slats were missing. Same with our bedroom. The other bedroom didn’t even have blinds. So fun at sunrise! Our bathroom didn’t have blinds either. It was nice greeting the construction workers on their scaffolding as they went by while we were showering or whatever else you do in the bathroom. The kitchen cabinets were screwed up. The laminate flooring was in terrible shape. It looked like they pulled it up from one apartment and repurposed in ours. Oh yeah and the light switches didn’t work in our room either. The best part is when we called to have these issues addressed, nothing happened. They were responsive while texting and apologetic, but unfortunately the only thing that was fixed while we were there was the flickering light bulb in the kitchen. The bed was super comfy though!

I knew there was work being done on the building beforehand, but it really wouldn’t affect our time. The only things that I found disheartening was there wasn’t any covering over the master bedroom bathroom window. I had to try and rig something up to cover the window so the bathroom could be used in private and not seen by the condo building right next to it. The second bedroom had blinds that were broken and could not be closed. They were wide open and the room couldn’t be darkened. Everything else was great and we had a very relaxing weekend.

Our family had an excellent Fourth of July weekend in Fort Lauderdale. The condo's location is perfect, with plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment options nearby, and the Hallandale Beach is expansive with soft sand.While the photos are representative of the unit and its furnishings, they don't capture some of the smaller details. The unit is comfortable and great for a vacation, but some of the furnishings are worn, a few floor tiles are warped, and some window blinds are missing. If you're a traveler who requires spotless accommodations, this unit may not be the best fit for you.

Close to a lot of restaurants, about 15 miles straight down A1A and your in south beach. Convenient store right across the street gas and all. Really liked the place and location.

Hollywood Beach Get Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived and checked in without a hitch, thanks to the communication provided by the host. Our suite was clean with a well equipped kitchen and a spectacular view. The valet parking attendants were quick and very friendly.We will book again the next time to Hollywood Beach with you folks.

Spring Break 2025

Enjoyed our stay. Pool could have been open a bit later. Apartment is in need of new flooring, lots of jagged edges. Couch not comfortable. TV remote missing in 2nd bedroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay and plenty of space for the 5 of us.

Great place and even better location!

This place is so close to the ocean. The hosts communicate really well. The instructions are a bit overwhelming and the parking is valet only which is a bit complicated. But the facilities are great and it is within walking distance to the grocery store and Walmart. I would stay here again for sure!

Apartment on the beach

Our apartment had a beautiful view and location. Parking was a dream after we paid our 10 per day valet fee. The apartment was basic, however in every other way. We had no sponges or paper towels or dish towels, etc. in the kitchen. There were beach chairs and beach towels, which was good because the lounge chairs on the beach were 55 per lounge per day. The pool area was very nice. Our host was very accommodating to my difficulty filling out the online lease, etc..

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were two couples who stayed two nights in this apartment. The check-in process was very easy. Accomodated for a late check-in as we arrived after 9pm was arranged ahead of time and was not a problem. The main lobby is beautiful, but the hallways to the apartment are definitely showing their age. Nevertheless, the apartment suited our needs with separate bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite sides of the apartment suite was nice for privacy reasons. The apartment could have been cleaner, attention to detail seemed a bit lacking (eg: long hair seen on the mirror, baseboards appeared to have not been wiped in a while, cleaning behind and around the toilet left some to be desired, touch points on some of the kitchen cabinet handles felt sticky, sand on floors felt when walking barefoot upon first entering the apartment), some cabinets in disrepair not opening and closing properly. Beds were soft and comfortable, living room furniture needs replacing as they are also showing their wear. We did not access any of the building amenities, so can't comment on that. The area around the apartment felt safe even at night. Not much in the way of restaurants within walking distance. The apartment has a shuttle service, but we didn't use it. Location to beach access very good. Nice view of the ocean Pool was nice to relax around. It's about 20-25 mins drive from cruise port.

Nice Area to Stay

This was our second time at this property. We really like the location and enjoy the beach views and access. Both Mario and Ben are excellent communicators, and replied quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely return for a third trip.

Great Stay in Hallandale

For context, we stay in the Ft. Lauderdale area usually once or twice a year for a week or so. We usually stay in higher end homes/hotels, so my perspective is biased. The property has many desirable qualities: - It is close to the ocean and the view from the balcony is great.- The unit is spacious.- Beds are comfortable and water pressure is good- Check in/out was a breeze.- Owner checked in to make sure everything was ok.- There is a decent gym.- WIFI was strong. Why I don't think it is 5 stars, are for the following reasons:- the unit is showing signs of wear and tear and could use some TLC- there are some small things that the unit could use (oven mitts and decent wine glasses) - there is no laundry in the unit. - the pool area is largely in the shade, the pool is quite small and there is no hot tub.While I don't think it is a 5 star unit in a traditional sense, it also does not come with 5 star pricing. In terms of value for cost, I would highly recommend it.
