Welcome to our freshly furnished home, ideally situated near Independence, MO's historic square! Our cozy home features two inviting bedrooms and a dedicated office space, perfect for remote work or study. Dive into local history at the nearby Truman Home, Vaile Mansion, Bingham-Waggoner Estate, and more. Don't miss out on the charm of the Independence Square with its array of shops and eateries. We're thrilled to host you for an unforgettable stay!

The space
Welcome to our charming Bungalow, nestled on a corner lot for easy access. As you arrive, you'll find the driveway at the back of the house leading to the back door with coded entry. As you step inside you can descend the stairs to the basement where laundry facilities await, or head up to the well-stocked kitchen. Beyond lies the open dining and living room area, with a small hallway leading to the bathroom, first bedroom, and office. The second bedroom is accessible from the living room. Relax on the sofa beside the electric fireplace, savor your morning coffee on the front porch, and enjoy a relaxing evening on the back patio. Should you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to reach out – we're here to ensure your stay is perfect.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire home. Laundry facilities are located in the basement. We have a coded entry on the back door. Entry codes will be provided the morning of check-in.

Great place to stay to visit family in town

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bungalow. The property was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies for us to cook each day. We loved being near the Independence Square and the historic district. We will be staying here again next time we come visit family in the area.

Lovely Stay!

The house is cozy, clean, comfortable, quiet, and convenient. The deck was very nice for drinking coffee in the morning and just a nice place to step away. An arcade, zoo, airport, park, stores and so much are nearby, very convenient location. Highly recommend!

Girls Trip

3 friends who met in college 35 years ago get together once a year to catch up. We enjoyed the zoo and a concert and a couple of great restaurants. The house was perfect for the 3 of us!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We had such a wonderful experience. The host was very kind and courteous. The home was beautiful and very clean. I had no worries about my baby crawling around, and my 3-year-old loved the arcade machine! If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be staying here again!

Quick trip

We were in town for a memorial service. The house was beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is close to several restaurants etc. Communication with the property owner was amazing, she returned messages promptly. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to inclement weather but the property owner was willing to extend our stay if needed. Definitely will rebook for our next trip tilo KC.

Royals boys weekend

The bungalow was perfect for our annual Royals game stay. The house was clean and kept us very cool during the heat wave. Internet went down during one night (not the owners fault) so we actually had to sit and talk to each other, and we enjoyed it. Thank you very much!

Meeple-A-Thon

We went up from Springfield for a charty board game event called Meeple-A-Thon. The house was a nice change from staying in a hotel as we all got to have our own rooms. The house was very cozy, clean and homey. Mattresses too firm and no coffee for the coffee maker.

Singles conference

Check in was simple, they texted me the code, which was the same as the last 4 digits of my cell phone making it easy to remember. The house was well stocked with bedding and towels and the neighborhood was quiet. The check out requests were simple and easy to accomplish. The only drawback was that there were mirrors in just the bathroom and one bedroom.

Great for our family trip

House was easy to find, clean and stocked with appropriate essentials, as advertised, great communication w owners. One suggestion: replace the twin bed with a double or queen bed. Thank you for the great stay!!
