Your own private retreat, tucked behind our home with Blue Ridge mountain views. Just 1 mile from downtown Black Mountain and 15 minutes from Asheville.
Newly renovated with the details in mind: cork floors, a handcrafted queen bed, and lighting you can dial to any mood. Everything you need for a long weekend, nothing you don't.
Walk to Lake Tomahawk, explore downtown, or head up to Montreat for some of the best trails in the region. The Blue Ridge Parkway is right up the road.
ABOUT THE SPACE
The studio is designed for comfort: a handcrafted queen bed, two lounge chairs, a kitchenette, and a full bath. Cork floors, tasteful art, and plant decor throughout to make you feel at home. Plenty of storage, a full-length mirror, and lighting you can dial to any mood.
We stock the basics so you don't have to think about them — coffee, tea, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a yoga mat, games, hair dryer, and books. Just show up.
Sleeps two comfortably. Traveling with a young child? We're happy to provide a pack-n-play, just send a message.

Great Stay
We had a great stay, this property was as advertised. Perfect place to stay, very clean, bed and chairs very comfortable, close to Black Mountain down town and close to Asheville (Biltmore House). All the instructions and communication with host was great.

We were in town to visit our son for Family Weekend at Montreat College. We had a wonderful stay at this studio cottage! The space was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and went out of their way to be accommodating, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this property!

Perfect studio. Cozy, clean and comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed staying here for our Anniversary. It is a close walk to Tomahawk lake and the Black Mountain downtown area. We will be coming back!

Had a great weekend staying here with my wife. Comfortable bed, nice kitchenette and all the amenities we needed. Close to downtown and Dynamite Roasters coffee. The host was very responsive and accommodating and we will definitely stay here again.

College visit
I have been looking for a small, quiet, affordable place to stay when visiting my daughter at Montreat College. Everything was perfect for me. No TV, but sometimes you just need to turn off the electronics and enjoy a great book. Great restaurants in town and so easy to bring left overs back to heat up later. Definitely will be back.

Everything was as decribed, good area and clean.
Only issue is it needs an iron. I had to go buy one to avoid having wrinkled clothes.
Unexpected expense. First time not having one in any vacation/trip rental or hotel. Very easy checkin and checkout
