Welcome to Black Mountain Lodge, a five-unit property where each unit has its own private entrance. Unit 2 is a spacious, 659-square-foot apartment with a ground-level entrance located around the back of the building.

Step inside to a generously sized kitchen with a dining table, a drip coffee maker, and all the essentials you need for cooking and dining.

The adjoining living room offers a large, comfortable seating area where you can relax and unwind. A smart TV is available so you can sign in to your favorite streaming subscriptions.

The bedroom and bathroom are conveniently located just off the living room. The bedroom has one queen-size bed and comfortably accommodates up to two guests. Please note that the bed is the only sleeping space. There is no sleeper sofa, and fire-zoning regulations do not allow cots or air mattresses on the floor.

This home is more than 100 years old and sits among large, mature trees. Because of this natural setting, insects may occasionally find their way indoors.

Pets are welcome. If you bring one, please be considerate of the other guests in the building. Dogs must remain on a leash at all times and be crated if left alone. Please do not bring a dog that will bark while you are away. Thank you for helping us keep the property comfortable for everyone.

For everyone’s comfort, this is a non-smoking, non-vaping property. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside or outside the property.

Please note that we do not have a front desk or concierge, so your stay will require a little self-sufficiency. We’re happy to help with questions or concerns during reasonable hours, but we are not a corporation and do not have staff available 24 hours a day.

Self check-in is available anytime after 4:00 p.m. You may check out anytime before 10:00 a.m. on your departure day.

This is a very old home with gas furnaces for heat and window air-conditioning units. Because it is a shared building, you may occasionally hear neighboring guests.
