High in Demand & Highly Rated, this beautiful 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom duplex home is only a 3 min walk from Magic Sands Beach. Remodeled & professionally decorated, this charming vacation getaway has all of the comforts you desire in your home away from home, including air conditioning!

Close to Kona's Best Beach, but without the traffic noise from Ali'i Drive, the Magic Sand's Beach House is in a private and quiet location to maximize your Hawaii holiday enjoyment.

There is plenty of room for your entire group. This home has a large family room in addition to its living room. Enjoy the 65 inch smart TV as the home has a total of 3 TVs. This house is equipped with High Speed WIFI for your convenience. Each bedroom has it's own air conditioning unit. The Magic Sands Beach House also has a large back yard lanai area, with a BBQ and outside dining area.

***Internet speed is at 300 MBPS. We had 5 people on Zoom/Google Meet simultaneously with no issues. Home has a full mesh router as well for optimal performance. Exterior facing security camera at the carport for your safety.

Things To Do:
• Magic Sands Beach/ La'aola Beach: a popular place to boogie board, just 300 steps from the house! Common place to see sea turtles and a great place to watch sunsets.
• Keauhou Shopping Center with KTA supermarket, Pizza Parlor, Movie Theater, Ice cream store and many restaurants. Just 1.5 miles away.
• Kahalu’u Bay Beach Park: great place for snorkeling and Stand Up Paddleboarding! Just 1 mile south
• Downtown Kona: Enjoy fabulous restaurants, shopping and farmers market. Just 3 miles north
• Coffee farms - if you love coffee, there are numerous coffee farms within 15 min from the house
• Manta Ray night viewing/snorkeling - drive 3 miles south to the Kona Outrigger for free Manta Ray viewing at night or signup for a night dive/snorkel (highly recommended by the owners!)
• Waikoloa Village shopping 45 min. north
• Two hours from Volcano National Park, Green Sands Beach.
• One and a half hours from Hilo and Waipio Valley.
• One hour from Waimea.

**This home's rental space is the Lower Space of the home. There is an occupant that lives upstairs.
This rental has it's own completely separate entrance and any guests would never be disturbed by occupant presence.**

Een heel fijn huis. Keuken is goed uitgerust op de pannen na maar dat komt waarschijnlijk omdat men de buiten bbq meer gebruikt dan wij. Verder echt niets te klagen. Een aanrader!

We loved our stay and we were very comfortable in the house. The air con kept it a very nice temp and the lanai was lovely to relax in at night or early morning. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to prepare meals. The beds could have been better quality and the backyard had a bit of a funky smell, but overall we had a great stay. The location is great and the walk to Magic Sands is super easy!

Family vacation

This rental house was perfect for a family of 4 visiting the big island from Michigan. Plenty of space in the house with AC in the bed rooms and living area. Kitchen had everything needed to do some cooking for easy family meals. The walk to the beach is only a few blocks and the neighborhood is super quiet. Lots of extra towels and an outdoor shower out back to rinse after the beach. Near to lots of restaurants and stores and centrally located along the coast on the west side of the island for easy day travel to adventures. Definitely recommend this house for family vacations stays!

Great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My son swims on a club team and he and a couple of other teammates were traveling to Kona for a meet. Just 3 adults additionally. We wanted to be able to make meals to help keep costs down. Also the hotel costs were through the roof! We ended up finding this property managed by Knutson and Associated, which appeared to be a rare find, so we hopped right on it! The property is located within walking distance to a small beach. It’s between 2 main highways so it’s really quiet. There was tons of room for all 7 of us, with a living room, dining room, family room, AND outdoor seating. There were mosquitos, alas, which were exacerbated by the lack of trade winds that weekend, but that didn’t stop us from grilling steaks on the gas grill! The kids found card games and board games in the family room with which to entertain themselves, which was also great! With Kona being SO hot that weekend, we also really loved that every room except the family room had air conditioning. What a treat! You do have to utilize the fans in the living room and kitchen/dining area and make sure the air conditioner isn’t overtaxed, but air conditioners in the bedrooms are AWESOME. The kitchen is well stocked with an incredible number of place settings, some pantry staples, and a ton of things to use for serving and grilling. We found that the water pitcher needed a new filter. We called and they came right away to drop off a new one! There were TONS of linens and too! They fo ask that you launder the extra linens (we were able to launder the ones our kids used on the pull out, and with the full size washer and dryer that was absolutely no problem. There is a driveway and carport where we were able to park; seemed like the upstairs tenant didn’t have a car while we were there. While we were checking out we realized our instructions might vary from what was provided, so we texted the company and they replied quickly and wi

Fantastic home base on the Big Island

Lovely 3 bedroom home in a residential area close to everything. Well supplied with responsive management and nice and clean. We especially appreciated the well stocked beach supplies; the umbrellas are a must have!
