Featuring 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, Hawk's Nest welcomes you and your dog! Enjoy the breathtaking views from the rooftop deck with a cocktail in hand. This beautiful home has been newly renovated and updated with modern fits and finishes that are highlighted by the perfect amount of natural light. With clean lines, modern decor, a well stocked kitchen, well appointed bedrooms and unmatched ocean views this home is the perfect backdrop for beach memories that will last a lifetime. This home is located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills and just a short walk to some of the best restaurants that the Outer Banks has to offer.

Property was as described. Easy walk to the beach. There was a lot of road noise which was a bit of a downfall to the property...but was expected as I had read other reviews. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. Property was VERY clean and everything looked very well maintained throughout. Overall we were very happy with the property and was very happy to have our furry friend with us as well.

Our stay was wonderful! Very clean house with just a short walk to the beach access area. Check in and out process was very convenient and easy. Location was excellent for access to grocery stores and shopping. For a last minute booked trip we had a wonderful experience!

Perfect

My wife and I along with our two young boys just spent a week at this paradise. What a beautiful property in a PRIME location to great restaurants, mini golf, and beach access. We will be returning for as many years as possible.

When we got there, there was no toilet paper, paper towels or soap. Reached out to the company about it, they asked if a “blue bag” was in the counter, there was not. Told them that and didn’t hear back from them. Went to Dollar Tree to buy supplies because we couldn’t go all week without those essentials. When we got back, there was a blue bag on the front porch with the supplies. Would’ve been great to know they were on the way so we didn’t waste our first night in town shopping for essentials we didn’t wind up using.The house had no bedsheets or towels. Oh sure, there’s an option for “bed linens” during the booking process for an extra 150 bucks, but I thought that was just an upgrade, you know to the fancy stuff. Nope. That was the regular product. Dude, come on. Who’s traveling with their own bedsheets? Cheap stunt to try to nickel and dine every last cent out of travelers. Puzzles in the house were all missing pieces. The internet stopped working for about two hours and I had to troubleshoot it myself. Good location to watch fireworks, though.

We apologize for the confusion regarding the starter supply bag. We sent a text within approximately 30 minutes letting you know that our inspector was on the way with the blue bag, and we're sorry if that communication was missed. We certainly understand how frustrating it can be to make an unnecessary trip for supplies. Regarding linens, our optional linen package is clearly disclosed during the booking process. We offer this as an option to help keep rental rates as affordable as possible, allowing guests to choose whether they'd like to bring their own linens or purchase the convenience of having them provided. We appreciate you mentioning the puzzles. We'll have our team check them and replace any that are missing pieces so future guests can enjoy them. As for the internet interruption, there were intermittent service issues in the area during the holiday weekend that were outside of our control. We appreciate your patience while service was restored. Thank you again for your feedback.

The dishes, etc were extremely clean and tidy, which makes a difference to me. Fresh looking decorations, furniture, bedding. The "beach road" location was busier with traffic than we expected, so sitting on the front porch for coffee or to read wasn't as peaceful as we had hoped due to traffic noise. No traffic noise in the bedrooms. Comfortable beds. We would stay again! It is not super easy to walk to the beach from this unit but as easy as comparable rentals this distance from the beach.

Perfect house and location for group of 4 adults, 2 children and a dog. Across the street from the beach, easy walk. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby including Publix. Lovely porch and the upper porch overlooking the ocean was a plus.

Our family had an amazing week at the Hawks Nest. It is just as described and was a quick walk to the beach. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and outside decks were our favorite place. We stay in OBX every year and this was by far one of the best! Can’t wait to come back next year!
