We absolutely loved our time at the Birdnest! Michael was extremely accommodating & responsive in his communication. The home was private, secure & exactly what we needed to spend a beautiful Fall weekend in Denver. And, it’s the perfect stay & location to visit our daughter at DU! Definitely staying here again!

We had an amazing stay at the Cozy Bird Nest. Prior to check in Michael provided information about the house as well as some wonderful recommendations for area activities. The house was exactly as listed. It was clean, well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay again. 5 stars!!!!area. Th

Great location, clean property

This is a nice property. Didnt need to use downstairs since it was just the 2 of us. Very clean, extremely comfortable bed, within walking distance to everything we needed, easy parking. Couple suggestions: could use a couple more bed pillows, bathroom could use a fan. Had issues with the door lock, but was able to contact them immediately. Thanks for the stay!

It was a great little place in a very convenient location!! Erika the housekeeper was so nice and kind and the place was clean!! The only disappointing thing was that when I asked to check in early ( like an hour or 2 early) because I was traveling with small children and it was hot, they wanted to charge me an extra 50 dollars. But other than that the place was clean, safe and comfortable!! Thanks for hosting us!!

DON'T STAY HERE

This host was awful. They lied about having air conditioning on the property. When confronted about the issue upon check in, they further lied about having window units to the property. There were 2 pages of instructions to staying in the property and a whole paragraph about creating a draft with open windows, so they knew there wasn't proper air conditioning to the property. Then the host fought and harassed my family to try and get a refund after we checked into a hotel. Further there are 2 different access points from the connected duplex to access the property and there are no locks on the visitor's side to ensure safety. Would not recommend this property to anyone.

We had a good stay in Denver, the spot met our needs and was pretty fair for the price. Michael was very responsive and was attentive to the experience of his guests. Some gripes about the physical space- it rained the few days we were in town and there was flooding in the basement room. Seemed like moisture may be an ongoing issue as there were dehumidifiers around the basement. If you’re sensitive to mildew I would avoid using the downstairs room. The listing also advertises a sauna. When we arrived there was no sauna. Not a big deal and I think the space was still fair for the price but the advertisement of a sauna should be removed from the listing. Lastly, there was an overflowing trash pile out front for the entirety of our stay. It looked like the trash hadn’t been removed for weeks. We made it work but the instructions in the house for trash removal did not seem to align with the actual upkeep of trash. All in all not a bad place for the price and locality to public transportation. If you’re looking for a cheap place to use as a home base this is not a bad spot!

We are Michael and Meghan. We're married with 1 dog, and we dog sit others. We met in Austin & have also lived in San Diego and Denver. Our goal is to create fun, homey, and thoughtful experiences, while also using our Airbnb assets to visit our family and friends. Our family and our bnb's are in Austin & LLano, TX; Columbus, Ohio; Denver, CO, and Oceanside, CA. We have a gentle, but enthusiastic and vocal dog (War-B) when he first meets you!
