We stayed at this property in September and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The place initially looked fine, but after the first night we both woke up with multiple bites. Based on prior travel experience, we suspected bed bugs and immediately notified the host, providing photos as requested. To avoid the bedroom, we tried sleeping on the pull-out sofa the next night, but it was broken and extremely uncomfortable — so much so that we cut our stay short and left at 5am.We also threw away our pillows before leaving because we did not want to risk bringing anything home. While the host later claimed their inspector found no evidence, our experience was very real and left us with an unpleasant trip.What was most frustrating is that despite reporting the issue promptly, the host never offered any meaningful resolution or refund, and has since chosen not to address the situation further (unresponsive). Guests deserve to feel safe, comfortable, and supported if problems arise. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
