Our policy clearly states that during "high volume", each condo is permitted 2 vehicles. It is common knowledge that July is peak time for the gulf shores area. It is the guest's responsibility to call and inquire prior to arrival, as it is impossible for us to indicate specific "high volume" dates since we do not know what reservations will be coming in throughout the year. It is also common knowledge that most condominium complexes have limited parking. To be exact, we have 120 parking spaces and 62 condos. It was explained to guests that we had almost 300 people and even our grassy areas were fully parked with cars. Guests admitted that they could have easily carpooled. They were allowed to park a third vehicle but we did not have space for a 4th vehicle. Guests arrived with 4 vehicles and was here for 3 nights (not 4), July 26 - 29, 2021. It is stated in our policy that we do not provide consumable items. We do provide a starter kit that has toilet paper for each bathroom. We also put a trash liner with a spare in each garbage can (all bathrooms and kitchen). Renting a condo is different from renting a hotel. Guests bring their own supplies. There are plenty of stores in the area (including dollar stores) to get supplies. Most of our rules are basic "common sense" which, unfortunately, have to be spelled out due to guests misbehaving or being inconsiderate, causing unpleasant stay for other guests and tenants. All of our rental terms are detailed and should be read prior to booking. Anyone that do not wish to be courteous and considerate toward others should not book here. Our policies are in place to ensure pleasant enjoyment of our guests and tenants. Most of our guests appreciate the policies because they know they are coming to a place that will be peaceful and safe, especially for families that don't want to expose their children to the craziness that goes on in a typical beach tourist town.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We really appreciate that you wrote both the pluses and minus, as we uses these comments to learn and improve. When we first started out renting our condos to vacationers, we had very few rules. All of our rules are the result of renters doing things that were a nuisance to other guests or deterrents for smooth and consistent operations. Some of the furniture is very heavy (too heavy for one petite cleaners to move by themselves) and we frequently have guests that re-arrange the furniture. We have had to replace many artwork that disappeared off the walls. Most of our guests appreciate the rules because they know they are coming to a peaceful, quiet, safe environment with condos that are FULLY furnished and well equipped, so they don't have to eat every meal out; and the fact that we spell everything out in detail up front, so there won't be any surprises. Our rules are reminders that everyone will be held accountable, to ensure the condo will be in good shape for the next guests. We have personally rented at other properties that were so poorly equipped and managed, that we didn't even have a spatula to cook eggs. Our rules help alleviate that problem for all of our guests, particularly those who return year after year. If we all do our part, everyone will be able to enjoy their units and the amenities. Yes, we are Christians and that will not change. We pray that everyone that comes here will experience love, peace, joy and relaxation.

Thank you very much for your comments. The pool is closed for the winter season and will re-open April 2, as it is not heated and, typically, we do not have anyone using the pool during this time of the year.
