Great little spot by Tyson St park

Overall, the location was amazing. Just a short walk to the pier, beaches, and restaurants. The space is small, 2 rooms (bedroom, livingroom/kitchen) plus a bathroom. It might have been too small for more than 3 people. I think the main bed was a double, sleeper sofa was not really comfortable but my 15 year old made due. NO AC (but there was a nice breeze that kept the space from being too warm), Private parking for 1 vehicle, pay-by-load laundry, beach gear to use, a nice big picnic table on the padio. Definitely will stay again. Great for a little weekend getaway.

Location Location

The property was located across from beach and a block from downtown -Perfect.The unit was great for 2 people stayed almost 3 months and never felt cramped. Would definitely return.

Location, Location , Location

The property is older but very well maintained and with some updates. Was nice to have parking included as this is a very busy area with metered parking. Close walking access to the beach was just steps away. Beach chairs and laundry were available to use. Loved having our own little patio. During our stay all units were occupied by an over 50 crowd. Not fancy but very comfortable.

Great location

The place is small for a small family get away. It’s walking distance from the beach. Everything is within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay.

Cottage By the Sea

Great location across the street from one of the best beaches in North San Diego county. Convenient walking distance to restaurants and shops. Condo fully equipped with comfy bedding and soft towels. Host is very helpful easy to reach.

Christmas in Oceanside

Thoroughly enjoyed spending Christmas in Oceanside. Watching the sunset over the Pacific was as easy as walking out of the front door, across the street and onto the beach. Property is located within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. The property was clean and well maintained, with all appropriate amenities. NOTE: If you plan on doing laundry during your stay, bring quarters. The washer/dryer is coin operated. I'm only mentioning it because I wasn't prepared and found myself on a quarter hunt one evening. Still giving it 5 stars though because it would not deter me from booking again in the future.

Perfect location!

This unit was just perfect for our stay. It is just across from the beach and close to many local restaurants. I do have one suggestion and that would be to have a boogie board or two available for use. There were no tolietries so be sure you bring your own or be prepared to purchase. I always bring my own but forgot shampoo this time. Overall a great place to stay!!! I don't want to leave!

Too hot!

The property was clean and updated, but the fact there is no ceiling fans or air conditioning made it miserable. There was a small tower fan and two other fans that hardly made any difference. Unfortunately we were unable to cook as the heat and small space made it feel like an oven. We purchased a small thermometer and the inside temperature got up to 93 degrees! The other downside is the parking for unit C is is in the back and you have to physically unlock a padlock and roll a heavy gate, which wasnt too pleasant as my husband just had rotator cuff surgery, and I had to move it.

Sparkling clean and the location can’t be beat

Our family of four stayed four weeks and we really enjoyed it. The location is great—so close to the action. We walked to restaurants, coffee shops, the beach and the Oceanside pier. The unit itself was probably the cleanest (and for sure the smallest) place I’ve stayed away from home. We spent many hours on the patio, which has a picnic table and umbrella with an unobstructed view of the ocean. Over the course of our stay we saw Wendy’s cleaning crew clean other units from top to bottom, including even the window screens, every time they turned over a unit. Everything you need is inside and not much that you don’t, with the exception of AC. Although you won’t need it most of the time, we stayed during July and it was hot! There were three fans but still we struggled to get comfortable and there just wasn’t good ventilation, even with the windows open. The WiFi signal was strong, shared laundry was accessible in the garage behind the unit, and there is a nice big gas grill (shared) availabile too.

Cozy, Clean Condo + Short Walk to Beach

We had a great time at this condo and would definitely return. The condo itself is very clean and has all the accommodations you'd need for a comfortable stay near the beach. The kitchen is surprisingly spacious for the tight quarters (dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, deep sink, etc.), the master bed is comfortable, and the bathroom and shower don't feel cramped. We took our two small children, and the space was big enough for the four of us (of course, we didn't just sit around at the condo all day!). The outside of the condo is well manicured and maintained, which makes it feel very inviting. It's not dingy looking and depressing like other affordable beach condos we've stayed in before! We enjoyed our dinner outside at the picnic table while enjoying a nice view of the ocean. Can you beat that? You can access the beach basically right across the street; however, the portion of the beach right across the street happen to be some of the "rockier" portions of Oceanside beach. Nevertheless, you will find many people who set up their pop-ups, chairs, etc. right there. We chose to walk down near the Oceanside pier, which was about a 5-10 min walk with two small kids. It was completely doable and worth it to us to walk the extra distance. Really the only uncomfortable part of our stay was when we first arrived. We arrived at about 4:30 or 5:00 in the afternoon. It was a warm day (about 84 degrees), the condo had been closed up all day, and so it was very warm inside. Coming from AZ where everyone has A/C, it's a bit of a shock to endure that type of heat indoors without the ability to cool it down. Even opening the windows and door didn't provide immediate relief. Of course, it's normal not to have A/C in this area, and we also didn't spend the hottest part of the day inside the condo outside of when we arrives, so it wasn't a big problem. Overall, our stay was very pleasant. The condo worked well for our small family of four. Although the property is small, you can tell it is very well maintained -- I would rather stay in a small, well-maintained rental than a larger, dingy one! I would highly recommend this owner/condo, and I could definitely see renting multiple of these condos if we were staying here with friends.

Clean, updated and great location!

These cottages are as close to the Oceanside beach as you can get. There are three cottages in tandem with unit A facing the ocean. They are walking distance to the Pier and downtown shopping area. We were in Unit C, which is in the back. We stayed there for two weeks. Although we didn't have ocean view from our unit, we did have full ocean view from our front patio. The morning walk on the beach was fantastic. We got a great deal and the management is very easy to work with and accommodating. The unit was in good shape. The kitchen is fully equipped and upgraded and modern. The wifi is fast and there is onsite laundry. The only thing that we complaint about is the size. We found it to be uncomfortable and not inspiring to stay in for relaxing. I can see myself to be excited if I was younger or if it was for just a weekend. But for long term rental, we advise to take the size into consideration. If you are a surfer or a young couple who likes to explore oceanside and the surrounding, you can"t beat the location and price. The other inconvenient aspect of our unit was that the car parking was in the back of the building and we had to manually open and close a sliding gate every time we left and entered the complex. In addition, we had to lock and unlock the combination lock for the gate.
