Thank you for your 8/10 review of Pointes North Inn, Suite 200. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall and especially appreciated the private patio, one of the most popular features of our downtown Charlevoix property. The ability to sit outside and take in the sights of Round Lake and the nearby drawbridge adds a special touch to every visit, and it’s great to know you were able to enjoy that aspect of your stay. We sincerely apologize for the maintenance concerns you mentioned and appreciate you bringing them to our attention. Your comments regarding the patio railing have been forwarded to our property management and maintenance teams for immediate inspection and reinforcement. Thank you so much for sharing your experience at Pointes North Inn, Suite 200 and for the five star review. We are very glad to hear the rental was exactly as described, very clean, with a great view and easy walking distance to downtown Charlevoix shops, restaurants, the marina, Round Lake, the waterfront and the drawbridge. The walkable location and condo style layout are a big part of why so many guests choose this property, and it is great to know those pieces helped you have a great time. We are truly sorry about the issues you encountered with the in room jacuzzi, driveway, pool temperature, and comfort of the bed, pillows, and living room furniture. Your note about the leaking tub and the ill fitting plug is especially helpful and has been passed directly to maintenance so the drain can be properly repaired rather than patched. We are also reviewing driveway maintenance and pool settings so access and water temperature are more comfortable. Because each condo is individually owned, your comments about the mattress, pillows, and seating will be shared with the owner so they can consider softer bedding and furniture that is both attractive and truly comfortable. We appreciate your detailed feedback and hope to have the chance to welcome you back to Suite 200 or another Pointes North Inn condo for a more relaxing and comfortable Charlevoix stay.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear the room/condo was lovely and clean, but we’re very sorry the early check-in did not go as expected. You paid for a 1:00pm early check-in, and the room should have been ready at that time. Arriving at 1:30 and not being able to access the room until almost 2:45 is understandably frustrating, especially when you were attending a wedding at 4:00 and had planned your schedule around having time to get refreshed and ready. We apologize for the inconvenience and the stress this caused. We’re also sorry you had trouble figuring out the kitchen lights. We’ll review the in-room instructions and look at adding clearer guidance or labeling so guests can easily operate everything in the condo. Regarding the early check-in refund, we apologize that it has not yet been received after you were told it would be issued. We are following up on that immediately to ensure it is processed properly. Thank you again for recognizing the cleanliness and quality of the condo while also letting us know where we fell short. Your feedback helps us improve our communication, check-in process, and guest experience moving forward.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review, even without a written comment. We really appreciate you choosing to stay with us and sharing your rating. If there was anything you especially loved—or anything you think we could improve—we’d truly welcome your feedback anytime. We hope your stay was relaxing and enjoyable, and we’d be happy to host you again on a future visit.
