Charismatic bungalow style home perfectly located just one block from the beach and only a few blocks from Center Street. Bring your family to the beach for some fun in the sun and great eats; or meet your friends here for a Folly hideout and island nightlife. This place is perfectly sized and fully equipped, including features such as: Screened in outdoor porches, outdoor shower, propane grill, kitchenware, in-unit laundry, TV's in each room, and YouTubeTV in living room. Pet friendly.

There are plenty of outdoor adventures surfing at the Washout, dolphin watching, shelling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing tours from various companies based on Folly Beach. Stroll down and fish off the Folly beach Fishing Pier. Listen for live music in the downtown area of Folly Beach. Rent bicycles for an alternate way to travel around the island. Visit the far east end of the island for a tranquil beach walk and shelling with picturesque views of the Morris Island Lighthouse - a favorite among locals and visiting guests! Pick up some local artisan gifts and locally made food from the seasonal markets. Downtown Charleston is only a 20-minute drive to historic tours, harbor walks, carriage rides, world-class dining, theater, boutique shopping, and the South Carolina Aquarium.

Huge dead cockroaches on the floor when we got there. Gates left open and we had to secure the backyard because we had our pet dog with us. Much smaller than we thought, but that was more my fault for not looking at the square footage. It was very dark without lights on in the house. The cockroaches were there again one morning. The location was great for all thing on Folly Beach. We did enjoy our stay. Just a few thing needed refreshed.

This house was perfect for our weekend away and communication with the host was always quick. We loved having the fenced in yard for our dog, the outdoor shower, 2 off street parking spots, and sitting on the screened porches. It was super close to the beach and Bert’s 24hr market and only a few blocks to Center Street. The TVs are smart so you can sign into your streaming services. Plenty of shampoo/conditioner/body wash, blankets, towels, closet space, and cabinet space. The beds aren’t very comfortable but we made it work. Both rooms were dark enough with the room darkening curtains, but the back bedroom was a little quieter since it’s further from the street. Also note there are 3 steps to get into the back bedroom. The kitchen was sparse but we didn’t cook anything so we had what we needed. The floors are a bit uneven so if you are someone with balance issues, you have to be careful when walking. The only annoyance we had were the acorns or nuts dropping onto the metal roof make a noise that our dog barked at every time (even with noise machines and the TV on), though there isn’t anything anyone can do about that! Just something to be aware of if you or a pet have sensitive ears. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back to stay again!
