Casa de Flora B- Relaxed Elegance in historic St Augustine 🚭

Built in 1927 this house has been in our family since 1974. It has 3 apartments. Apartment B (this listing) is on the ground floor. Apartment A is also downstairs. Apartment C is located upstairs and is available for rent. There may be guests present during your stay. Please observe quiet time from 10pm-8am keeping TV, music, regular noise and conversations at a low volume that does not disturb other guests. There are no steps to enter this apartment. It is located within walking distance to most attractions. It's about 1/2 mile away from Castillo de San Marcos (the fort), 3 blocks away from Fountain of Youth, across the street from Pelican Landing Bar/Restaurant and Old Town Liquor. You're only minutes away from restaurants, shopping, entertainment and churches. It is a pedestrian friendly area but please use designated crosswalks.

-The apartment has heart of pine floors and 9' ceilings. It has an open floor plan with 4 rooms consisting of a living room, bedroom , kitchen and bathroom. There is a covered front porch with 2 adirondack chairs.

- The living room has comfortable seating for 3 with a love seat, chair, cozy pillows and throws. The entertainment center houses a 40" Sony Smart TV and DVD player. The TV is on a full extension tray that allows TV viewing from bed. Comcast cable includes basic cable. The apartment also has wi-fi for live streaming services (Netflix, Prime, etc). The entertainment center is stocked with a selection of books and movies for use during your stay. There is a wall unit air conditioner for heating and cooling.

-The bedroom has a queen size bed and large chest of drawers. The bedside tables include a radio/CD/alarm clock, remote for controlling all wall lamps and a remote for the fan that sits atop the chest of drawers. There is a table with 2 chairs for dining or using a computer that includes a USB charging station. There are also USB charging ports in the outlet strip on the lower bedside shelf. A curtain is present to close for privacy between the living room and bedroom.

-The kitchen is equipped to prepare a meal or reheat take out food. Included is a 24" full featured stove with 4 burners and oven, a microwave and a refrigerator. Dinnerware, flatware, crockpot, cooking utensils and lots of cocktail and wine glasses are also provided . It has a coffee bar with a Keurig Coffee Maker and k-cups. There is a selection of tea for the tea lovers and an electric kettle. Picnic baskets include everything but food and drinks. A step ladder is kept in the closet for accessing the higher shelves.

-For your convenience there are robes, hangers, umbrellas, folding chairs, an ironing board with iron and a flashlight stored in the closet.

-The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. We offer a hair dryer, wall mounted makeup mirror, shampoo, conditioner, soap, fluffy towels and first aid kit in the bathroom cabinet.

-Palmetto bugs are large bugs that look like roaches but have wings and can fly in through open doorways. They are a HUGE problem in Florida especially after heavy rains. We have monthly pest control service but these particular bugs often still find a way to get in. Hopefully, if you see one he is either dead or dying. Don’t be alarmed - they don’t bite or sting. I usually grab a paper towel and pick them up and toss them in the garbage can. If you see more than one or two please let me know and I’ll give the exterminator a call.
