Get ready to relax in this bright, hip, 1-bedroom urban loft style apartment in a historic building in Rapid City. The cozy bedroom features a custom "music" mural painted by a local Native American artist, comfortable queen bed with memory foam mattress and quality linens. The living room features giant picture windows with views into downtown and Rapid City's famous "Art Alley." A cozy futon lets two extra guests join in on the fun. With a full kitchen, including dishwasher and all the basics for cooking a yummy meal, as well as heating, AC, and WiFi, you will have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Complimentary parking in the ramp on 6th St by Main St Square. Stay in the heart of it all in Rapid City when you stay at our place!

Loft in downtown Rapid City

Enjoyed our stay at this cute loft in downtown Rapid. We were within walking distance to everything and was just what we were looking for. Access to free parking was a bonus. We’ll be back.

Great location Great Stay

Every nice area and right in downtown, so we walked everywhere we wanted to go which was awesome. The host was quick to reply and help if needed. The loft itself and building felt safe but one thing to be aware of is that you are able to hear some of the night life as they pass the building, but it was worth it for the location and overall experience.

Great location for the start of iur SD trip!

This space was perfect for me and my two kids. We loved the location although parking a few blocks away with our luggage was a small inconvenience. The place was immaculate and the host was responsive right away when we needed a parking spot for our second night. Would definitely recommend!

From outdoor street festivals, to an open-air ice rink and splash park, to "Art Alley" where local street artists get free reign to explore their creativity, to the "Presidents" sculptures and local Native American art galore (don't miss Prairie Edge!), the location is ideal for travelers who want to explore on foot, right from their accommodations.

My family and I are so proud to own our historic building in downtown Rapid City. The "Swanders" building has had many lives — starting out as a grocery store, then a bakery and a department store before becoming an office building and lofts. My parents, an interior designer and engineer, have lovingly restored the lofts to their current glory, adding so many fun and unique details, including lots of local art and reclaimed materials, to give each loft its own charm. With six lofts total in the building, be sure to check in with me if you're looking to book a group of spaces for a big event!
