Very convenient to the downtown area

The suite was very clean, comfortable and convenient. We were able to park the car in one of the three included spaces and did not have to move it until it was time to leave as it was easy to walk where ever we wished to go. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

Great location and property. There were 2 things worth noting. The property shows a roof top deck. Which is great but if you are coming for a romantic getaway you may want to have some wine on the rooftop, however, there is no wine opener or wine glasses. Also, black out curtains would also be nice as one of the windows faces east so when the sun comes up the room is very bright. That being said we would stay there again.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the great location and property and that you would consider staying with us again. We appreciate your helpful suggestions regarding the rooftop experience, particularly the wine opener and wine glasses. We’ll review adding these items to make the space even more enjoyable for guests. We also appreciate the feedback about the morning sunlight and will consider options such as blackout curtains to improve comfort for guests who prefer a darker room. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing to stay with us. We look forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing getaway!

Quaint and comfortable.Should have been warned about all the steps and an elevator that has not operated for years. It was hard to get bags up the stairs with no help. We are 79 and 80.Chairs beside the table would have been nice too. Hard to enjoy our glass of wine sitting on the bed.FYI there was a missing piece of art work on the left wall coming in. Just the hook which looked bad for your rental. The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean and fresh. Loved the large bathroom. We had plenty of room. Would certainly love to come back.We were so close to shops and excellent restaurants. We really enjoyed our 59th wedding anniversary with you.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback, and congratulations on your 59th wedding anniversary! We’re truly honored that you chose to celebrate such a special milestone with us. We’re delighted to hear that you found the room clean, fresh, and comfortable, especially the bed and spacious bathroom, and that you enjoyed the convenient location near the shops and excellent restaurants. Regarding the stairs and elevator, we understand that accessing the room with luggage can be challenging. However, we would like to clarify that an elevator is not included among the property’s amenities and is not advertised or listed as an available feature in the listing description. We always encourage guests to review the listing details and amenities before booking to ensure the property meets their individual accessibility needs. We also appreciate you bringing the missing artwork and lack of chairs near the table to our attention. We’ve noted these items for our team to review and address so we can continue improving the space and guest experience. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback. We’re so glad you were able to enjoy your anniversary stay and the comfort and location of the property. We would be delighted to welcome you back for another visit!

A charming setting in a great location

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in the Caboose Suite for two days and nights, and its appointments and location contributed to our thoroughly enjoyable visit to Blue Ridge, now our favorite town in N Georgia. The Southern Charm -- both restaurant and 2nd floor suites -- are in a prime Main Street location at reasonable rates, which made it a good value for our short, off-season stay. We slept soundly in the premium King Bed with quality pillows, and we did not experience any street noise, which we wondered about when we booked it. The Suite was as tasteful and spacious as pictured, and lacked none of the essentials -- especially the Keurig coffee pot, which was especially appreciated since the restaurant below does not open until late morning. We were able to get one of the parking spots behind the building close to the entrance door (and stairs) every evening, so it was convenient and we felt safe at any hour. We also appreciated the detailed, professional, communications via both email and text to confirm our reservations, and included clear directions on how to access the room. All in all, we agreed that we would be very happy to re-book this lodging on our next trip to the area, and gladly recommend it to other traveling singles or couples. (I would only give 5 stars to more full-service upscale lodging) Onwards; Matt

Charming Stay in Downtown Blue Ridge

Conveniently located in the heart of Downtown BR, our Caboose Room was perfect for our weekend stay. You would never know the room was above a popular restaurant - we had no issues with noise or smells. While there are reserved parking spaces for suite guests, the signage is not readable/bold enough to deter visitors; however, we were able to find other nearby options. The suite was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Water pressure was low, but refreshing after our hike. The balcony was lovely for morning coffee. Communication with hosts was excellent, and we would definitely recommend Southern Charm Suites. (For those with mobility issues, all suites are on the second floor accessible by stairs.). We hope to visit again and appreciate the hospitality!

We had a great time in Blue Ridge and this hotel was right in the middle of it all. Great location and the room was great, too. It had all we needed for our stay there. The only detractor was the low water pressure in the shower. To be fair, we never mentioned it to the management during our stay. With that said, we’ll stay there again the next time we get back to Blue Ridge.
