Great Stay

The reason we booked at Sandpiper Cove is because of all the reviews from repeat visitors. You know a place is great if folks want to come back. We were not disappointed and will be back. The beach is perfect, the community is nice, the staff go above and beyond, location is great, owners and guests are friendly. The unit we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. Sofa could use an update, other than that the place is perfect.

Trouble Free Stay

The whole experience was amazing and easy. The amenities, restaurant, boat ramp and dog areas. This place has everything all in one stop. The property was clean and staff were friendly. Communication up till arrival was quick and informative.

Very Nice Condo

Condo was beautiful and spacious. Washer and dryer is handy. Very close to unheated pool and not very far to heated pool. Bed in master bed is super comfortable. Would be nice if some things were already there, like paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent. Downside: if you have pets, there are 4 flights of stairs to manage everytime you go out!

Pros and cons to this rental..

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The initial review of this rental was good, however, as we stayed we uncovered a lot of items that were not included that made our stay less appealing in this unit. Beach services ARENT INCLUDED. This is the first rental we have stayed in in the last 5 years that DIDNT include beach services. The kitchen was less than stocked. No pizza roller. No scissors. No spatula! We had to get maintenance to come out and fix the disposal AND the WiFi. It was a shame that a rental took so much work during our vacation!!!! I definitely wouldn’t choose to stay in this particular unit in the future.

We love this condo. We love the canal view. This condo is very spacious with good sleeping arrangements. Parking arrangements is a plus on this unit as well.Sandpiper Cove is our favorite and only place to stay when visiting Florida. You cannot go wrong with unit 4214.

The rooms were spacious and it was very quiet on the canal. Being on the canal next to the dock were we could load up and unload the pontoon boat was extremely convenient. No wet body and towels in my car!!! We will be back!! Thank you for making our time awesome.

Needs deep cleaning and updated!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit was not clean at all, floors were like no one ever mopped or vacummed. Carpet in bedrooms were stained and absolutely filthy. Dryer was broke and maintenance temporarily fixed, said he would return with part in a couple days to fix but never showed back up. TV remotes were dead, they did bring us batteries for them. Also no light working in laundry room, he said he would be back with a bulb to replace but never returned.Furniture is worn out! Bathtub was extremely slick, almost fell. No grab bars in showers. Bathtub was very slippery so had to purchase a bathmat to keep from falling while showering. Blinds were broken in some of the unit. Balcony furniture was broken and in bad shape! All issues should of been addressed before we arrived! About the only good thing to say was unit was decorated well. Very disappointed in our stay at Sand Piper!

Our New Home Away From Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived early after 8 hours of travel and were allowed to check into our condo a couple of hours early. The condo was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were firm but very comfortable. We enjoyed feeding fish in the canal from the balcony. We had a short walk to the beach, but it was a safe and easy route. Our teenage girls enjoyed the pool nearby, which has an 8 or 8 1/2 foot depth. It was very clean as well. The pool, restaurant, golf course, and tennis courts were all in very close proximity. For two moms with two teenage daughters, we felt safe throughout our entire stay. Check out was as simple as clicking on an email link upon departure. This was a safe, clean, family friendly condo. I do not have even one negative comment. We will definitely stay at this specific condo again when we come back to Destin.

The condo is within 5 minute walk to the beach. Loved having our own parking underneath. My only complaint with the condo would be the steps but we knew that going in. If older family members or small kids you may want to take that into consideration. Condo was very clean. Lots of space.

The beds are very comfortable, furniture was clean. We would return to Sandpiper Cove but, would not rent this unit.
