The Riverhouse

Your very own VIP private multi-family "Mini-Resort" right on the St. Johns River! Enjoy sunrises, fishing, kayaking, sunbathing, hiking at nearby beachfront parks in the “North Florida Keys.” Walk/drive on the ferry boat to Mayport or drive 15 mins. to Amelia Island for restaurants, shopping & nightlife. See schools of dolphins, birds & passing of a variety of vessels. Throw some seasoned meats & kabobs on the grills provided as you gather for a bonfire toasting with family & friends, while enjoying the views!! The kids and adults will love the arcade machines, 12' foot long shuffleboard table, and all of the games that are provided both inside and outside. Also provide at no additional cost are 4 kayaks, life jackets/whistles, which you can launch right off of the backyard beach and explore the shoreline and back creeks. 6 restaurants, a gas/convenient store across the street, and beautiful hiking and nature trails with some of the most beautiful beach scenery in Florida!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed in. It’s incredibly roomy and the roof top suite is so cool. Perfect location, too!

Great location. Enjoyed the fishing. The home had plenty of space for the 8 of us. The owners were very helpful with working with us and providing directions on restaurants, groceries and general knowledge. We will be staying again in the future.

This property was fantastic, very clean and well maintained and the views from the porches were amazing. Way more than enough room and parking for our group of 8 and we loved the location and proximity to some great restaurant options. It was a very easy drive to Amelia Island where our event was held. We loved every minute we stayed here and would highly recommend it. Hope to be back next year!

Beautiful, clean house! There are plenty of things for everyone to do. Fishing everyday from the backyard, watching the dolphins and ships, riding the ferry, walking to restaurants, and tons of games. The location can't be beat! We had a few questions that were answered right away. Greay host, great house, great location. We will be back!

Family Retreat

Our multi-generational family enjoyed a wonderful, comfortable stay at The Riverhouse. The home offered space and activity opportunities that appealed to each age group and included a large room for the entire family to gather for meals and fun. The outdoor areas were great too. We took full advantage of sitting out watching activity on the river and conversing around the fire pit. This home met all our needs and expectations. We would readily go again.

Wow! Did this property meet, no, EXCEED our expectations! The view is incredible. The house is pristine and accommodated us well. The central great room with large sectional and large TV was perfect for our football viewing! So many rooms to allow for smaller activites - the GAMES available, the studio suite above and the wide front porch and outdoor fire pit suited our large gathering to a “T”. The kids enjoyed the river’s edge and found about 30 shark teeth. I can’t say enough about the Riverhouse. And, the hosts were quick to respond in our planning phase and available throughout our stay. Everyone agreed we should come again!

The host was very communicative. Answered questions promptly. The house was clean, calm, and a great location, close to a beautiful beach right on the water. Plenty of rooms, and a large living room for everyone to hang out and visit.
