Your Chicago adventure begins at this delightful 3-bedroom condo. With 3 queen beds, 2 futons, and 3 bathrooms featuring a bathtub and shower, this charming property offers plenty of space for guests to relax. Enjoy amenities like WiFi, AC, and a washing machine, making your stay convenient and comfortable. The cozy living room with an additional futon provides a quaint spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place.
It's 1 minute walking distance to the U of Chicago campus and 8 minutes walking to Rockefeller Memorial Chapel, 0.6 miles to Presidential Center. The neighborhood and street are very safe. The regular patrols by campus police & security guards is 24hrs. We have hosted physicians, faculties, alumni, and others for a temporary stay.

We were satisfied with this place. It was close to the thing we came to visit. Parking was convenient. It was quiet with comfortable beds. Our only surprise was that it was on two levels

This was a great property for what we needed. Was able to walk to a couple of the places we had planned on going to. Nice neighborhood. Great host! Jim was very easy to communicate with.

The condo is clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen basics are provided (pots, pans, coffee maker, tea kettle, tableware, etc.), but there is no toaster. The towels were thin and very scratchy, but the bed linens were great. Location is excellent. I was able to park right in front of the building and felt very safe in this neighborhood. Easy walk to U of Chicago campus and restaurants/shops in the Woodlawn neighborhood.

They went out of the way to make sure we had keys to get in and got in early since no one was there night before.

The queen beds were comfortable and the parking was easy. It was nice that there were so many bathrooms, so no one ever had to wait. There was no bedding for the futons/couch, we found a thin blanket to use as a sheet and we happened to bring a blanket with us, so we made do. In the common areas there isn't much comfortable seating. Someone was sleeping on the couch, so that only left the table with chairs upstairs. Be aware that when the people on the floor above walk around it is very loud. So bring ear plugs or a white noise machine. It is easily walkable to the Obama Presidential Library, which is a must see!

It was a nice clean space for a larger group with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. Laundry in unit. Could not always get parking near the unit. Could use some chairs on the porch to sit outside. Would stay there again

Most of our reviews are 5 stars. However, from time to time, we receive guests who are dissatisfied with something that is beyond what we can provide. For example, one guest asked if we had wine glasses. We explained that we did not provide them. The guest responded, “Every house is supposed to have them. How come you don’t?” After their stay, they left us a 3.5-star rating. Another example involved a group of six guests who complained that they smelled marijuana when they first arrived. I explained that our cleaning staff does not smoke or use marijuana. Ironically, after the guests checked out, our cleaning lady did not want to clean the condo because the smell of marijuana was throughout the unit. The group also left the entire condo extremely messy, yet they still complained about odors and mustiness. Maintaining 5-star host status is not always easy. We do our best to provide a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for every guest, but it is impossible to satisfy everyone all the time.
