Enjoy the convenience of close beach proximity with a 3 minute walk to Las Bueulas national park, some of the best surf breaks in Costa Rica, surf shops, beach cafes, and wildlife. Immerse yourself in the refreshing 45' saltwater pool, complete with an infinity edge that creates a stunning visual effect and a perfect spot for relaxation and sunbathing. Workout, do yoga or just relax in the shala that overlooks the pool in your private jungle oasis. Enjoy a home cooked meal in the gourmet kitchen with your private chef or enjoy the local cuisine just a short walk away. Shelly was an amazing, responsive and very helpful host and the house was beautiful! We traveled with 2 little ones and the gorgeous saltwater pool in the backyard was a huge hit. Having a golf cart to rent from the owners was very convenient and helped us get around Playa Grande to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops. The kitchen and outdoor grill area were well equipped for cooking meals at home and the beds were very comfortable. We loved our time at Casa Lobos!

We had some many great things to say that the first version of our review blew past the character limit. We traveled as 6 adults with 7 kids (ages 5-14) and rented the entire property. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the grounds were beautiful. The pool was AMAZING and so nice to retreat to every day. The outdoor area (TV, speakers, grill, mini fridge, pool bar) and yoga veranda made pool time even better. It was a short walk (Howler monkeys in the trees at times) to the beautiful beaches where the sunset was one of the best I've seen. The waves got a little rough sometimes but nothing that didn’t feel unsafe with the kids with the usual precautions. The on-stie golf cart is a fun addition and the kids loved riding in it to the beach and around town, and we didn’t have a single bad meal in Playa Grande!Shelly was so easy to communicate with and helped us tap into the local community with chef recommendations, restaurant picks and fun excursions to plan. Alli (on-site manager) was a real gem and made our trip even more spectacular with her help with groceries, cooking us a delicious meal, and with local recommendations (surf lessons core memories for all the kids!). The on-stie golf cart was a fun addition and the kids loved riding in it to the beach and around town. The food scene in Playa Grande was solid with a handful of places having some live music. This trip was one of our most favorite family vacations!
Fresh sushi for the whole group!
Sunsets never got old.
