No notice of ongoing construction

We have stayed in this unit 3 other times and we have really enjoyed the views from this unit. This time was a completely different story. We arrived with construction equipment directly in front of are main windows and blocking all views from our patio. Not only was our view obstructed but there was construction materials and trash in flower beds and in patio area. The first few days they had our access from patio to beach and pool area caution taped off .. There was no notification of any construction to take place in front of this unit prior to arrival. Communication on our previous trips was great. I talked with the construction manager on site and he told us that they notified the owner prior to this work, which I believe we should of been notified prior to our arrival. When you can’t even sit out on the patio and enjoy the view while eating a meal or just relaxing. This is why we have continued to return to this unit. I reached out to the local contact for the unit and he denied knowing of construction going on but would reach out to the owner to see if they would be willing to discount our stay. Never heard back from anyone. We also found out that unit is up for sale so I would recommend staying away from this unit, no quarantine what might happen during the sale of the unit. It’s so unfortunate you pay top dollar to go and relax and it turns out to be a complete disappointment due to lack of communication. Hopefully the new owners treat there clients differently !!!!

Wonderful Condo

Condo is right on the beach with great access to the waves! Close to pool and nice sands down to the left a short walk. Great sunsets! Well appointed, comfortable, clean with water toys. Parking close to condo. Definitely recommend and would like to return.

Under Construction

The condo itself is in a great location. It’s very spacious and has everything you need. However, they have several units all around the condo that are being renovated. They start working around 8:00 am and you can hear hammering and drilling all day. You will hear the construction from the unit and at the pool. Your best bet to get away from the noise is to head to the beach. I wish the property management company would have been upfront about the construction. We never would have stayed there if they had informed us. When I messaged them to let them know, they said they were unaware. If they are managing the property, it’s their job to know. It’s kind of hard to miss if you pull into the parking lot. Before you book this unit I would ask them if there is still work being done and get their answer in writing. Loved the location, hated the noise.

Amazing!

The property and the room are very well kept. The room itself is so spacious and being on the ground level makes it steps away from the beach and pool. The property manager, Charles, is amazing to work with. He was able to accommodate a time that worked very well for us to check in and check out. The only thing I would have to mention is that there is a beach shower in front of this unit as well. So sometimes there will be other guests right in front of the unit rinsing off, so opening up all the blinds could be a little awkward. Otherwise, the property is not overly crowded and it was very quiet and relaxing.

Be up front about conditions at resort

Great condo, reasonably equipped, beautiful views and great location, close to pool and beach access. High quality linens and towels. Great response from on site manager. Wish we had been informed about the major renovation underway in the adjacent building in advance of booking. There was jack hammering going on daily from 9am to 4pm during work week…very noisy and not at all peaceful when lying at pool or beach.

MILLION$ VIEW

After a week in Oahu with a little too much rain, we arrived to a beautiful sunny week in Maui. This condo is perfect. The photos do not lie - you are 30 yds from the ocean with the island of Lanai to the left and Molokai to the right. One can sit on the covered patio and watch surfers trying to catch a wave and latter on in the afternoon whales jumping in the distance. The beach in front of the condo is a little rocky but walk just to the south is a long stretch of sandy beach. There is lots of room inside the condo with the Hawaiian style furniture in excellent shape. The condo also has sufficient cleaning supplies and lots of towels and outside toys. Numerous games, puzzles and books are available for any days it rains. There is a food store within walking distance for all your food and drink requirements. For restaurants - Dukes is located in resort to south - easy walk thru gate (reservations were booked to Feb but an hour wait list will get you in. Also one of best pizza restaurants is located in food store mall plus numerous food trucks are located in the park at entrance (italian and bbq were the best). This week was well worth the cost (to save $ book thru Evolve Property Management not VRBO). Charles our guest contact was excellent - any request or question we had was immediately answered - this helped make the week more enjoyable. We definitely recommend this condo - we want to come back!

Gorgeous unit, gorgeous location

This condo is beautiful, roomy and comfortable, exactly as described. Absolutely stunning views of whales breaching and turtles swimming. Because it is ground floor there are often other guests visible from the lanai, but the location is so convenient to the pool and the beach. We enjoyed our stay here very much!

Unwelcome visitors

We experienced many issues during our 9 nights stay. - the roach situation was very unnerving, we found 3 roaches in the first 3 days. And they declined to spray the unit. I took photos of the roaches and sent them to the host. - the patio furniture is rusted and very uncomfortable. - the AC thermostat is off by at least 10 degrees - the pillow cases smell, and the pillows are stained we had to wrap them in towels . And we brought our own linen. - the furniture in the bedroom was dusty and we had to wipe them with sanitizers. - the noise from the pool every morning around 7 am loud water hissing noise for about 1 hour.

Great stay for family vacation

Had a wonderful stay with the ocean and pool right at our backdoor. Charles was amazing in making sure we got settled in okay. Would def recommend to anyone looking for a more relaxed stay with easy pool and ocean access.

Great stay!

Great location in Kaanapali. Being on the north end you’re still close enough to many food places but out of the major hustle and bustle down by the big resorts (I’ve stayed down there and loved it as well, but wanted something with more space). The unit is situated perfectly being steps from both the pool and beach (on ground level). The bed was very comfortable; it could maybe use some updates bedding and pillows (they were lumpy), but otherwise the unit had everything we could ever need. Checking in, the computer did not work for us to print a parking pass and our key code did not either. The contact person Karla was immediately responsive via text and gave us her code to get into the unit, and the front desk printed a parking pass for us.

AWESOME!!!

I'm a little late writing this review, we stayed in Sept 2019, but are booking again today! We love this spot. The condo was wonderful!!! The condo was spacious and had everything we needed (beach chairs, kitchen gadgets, etc...). The washer/dryer are great to have. The bed is comfortable and we loved that we could walk outside in the AM with our coffee and sit by the ocean. So relaxing and beautiful! The sunsets are also amazing on this side of the island! We used the BBQ a couple of times and made wonderful dinners. We are headed back this year and this is where we will be staying!

Exceptionally clean, well laid out, comfortable unit

This unit is in an amazing location, close to everything! Being next to the pool was super convenient and not at all loud or annoying. A recommendation would be to provide cookware, bowls, perhaps some food storage containers. We tried to cook during our stay but found it difficult with 1 small frying pan. Also, no salad / fruit serving bowls. Overall, very accommodating owner/unit manager. I would highly encourage this rental.

Gorgeous condo and views!

This condo is actually much more beautiful in person. It’s in the perfect location and the views are panoramic. It is well stocked and was spotless. The sunsets were amazing from the lanai each night and the sound of the waves sets the mood. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay

My husband and I had a great one week stay here. Condo is beautiful and fully stocked. Gorgeous views though the beach right in front of condo is not really for swimming or sunning. Very easy walk to white sand beaches as well as restaurants and Whaler's Village. Condo is right next to pool making it very convenient and soundproofing was great so couldn't hear any noise when doors shut. AC was not working one day and called maintenance and had it fixed same day. Would definetely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful! As described and more.

This place is simply amazing. The views, the comforts, and the location are great. Only downside was not having a swim able beach, but this is easily remedied by walking 1/2 mile down to airport beach where the snorkeling is great and the reef not as close to shore. If you want to walk a mile or so down the beach then black rock is there with all the best snorkeling too. We saw whales every day, also dolphins and turtles- the beach is literally at your door step. The sunsets were amazing too. The boardwalk just out side the door goes all the way to whalers village. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing and for welcoming us to your home. Mahalo

Great Location

We enjoyed our return visit to Maui and were delighted that we picked this property. It was centrally located to what interested us (golf, shopping, restaurants) and only a short drive away to Lahaina. The property was well kept, clean and had all the things we needed. The proximity to the pool and jacuzzi was great and we always had our morning coffee on the lanai to enjoy the spectacular view. When the doors were all closed, it was very quiet and when the doors were open you were entertained by the sounds of the waves. The grounds are well maintained and parking was never a problem. Would definitely want to come back!

This property is very nice. The location is very good with access to the boardwalk along the beach.

When you step out onto the lanai you are no more than 30 steps from the pool or the ocean. It was very quiet while we were there and the pool area was never very busy. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were at this property. There is a lot of Beach gear in the closet for use but most of it is in need of replacing or should be gone through and tossed. There must’ve been half a dozen snorkels and masks but we only found one that had the strap to attach the two together. Nothing a quick trip to the abc store can’t fix. There is an Expedia rep on site daily to book excursions and the presentation was no pressure and informative. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful quiet spot

We had a wonderful time in this unit. It came fully stocked and ready to enjoy. There were lots of beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear, golf clubs (old, but probably usable), and other stuff. The building is quiet. I like that the Ka'anapali beach walk doesn't go right in front of the units. So you don't get the constant barrage of people walking past. The beach walk is just on the other side of the fence from the units, so you can enjoy a morning walk easily or walk down to the busier parts of Ka'anapali. The washer and dryer were also a bonus. We would stay here again.

Great location. Nice, roomy and clean. Beautiful sunsets.

We enjoyed our stay at Mahana at Kaanapali. We decided to stay on the bottom floor which was ideal with two kids, 11 and 13. We had easy access to the pool and to the beach entrance as well as having the sand wash station close for those sandy feet. I was a little concerned that being so close to the pool, it would be noisy, but it wasn’t an issue at all. The sounds of the waves were relaxing all day. The bushes out front slightly obstructed some of the beach view but you could still see the ocean and the mountains and the scenery was still visible and beautiful. The sunsets were amazing. The beach immediately outside of the condo is a bit rocky for us for swimming but a short walk down is a kid/swim friendly beach that we really enjoyed. The beach itself is sandy and great for a morning stroll. The condo itself is a good size and very clean. It was nice and roomy. Having the the washer and dryer in the condo was a lifesaver! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. Provided were some snorkeling gear, beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards, etc, which was nice to have. If you want to play tennis, bring your own racquet. The grocery store is a short walk with lots of little restaurants nearby for nights you don’t feel like venturing far. We found that we enjoyed casual evenings cookingin after activity filled days. We loved Badass Coffee and Barefruit for desserts, which are also within walking distance. Kaanapali was a great location for visiting sites around the island. We never felt like we had to travel far. Great place! Would recommend!
