Overall, we had a good stay and would recommend this house. The location was excellent—it felt private and secluded while still being just a short distance from downtown. A few things could be improved. The house felt a little understocked for a multi-night stay. There was only one trash bag, one roll of paper towels, a few bath towels, and no dish sponge provided, and we also had to purchase propane during our stay. We ended up buying additional supplies ourselves and left the extra trash bags behind for future guests. Given the price of the stay, we expected a few more basic household supplies to be included. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that these items were provided in such limited quantities, rather than finding out in the check-in instructions. One disappointment was the foosball table. It was pictured in the listing, but it was broken and missing pieces to the point that it was unusable. If it’s going to remain in the listing photos, it should be repaired or replaced.Lastly, there isn’t air conditioning, which is fairly common for mountain homes, but it’s worth noting if you’re staying in the summer. It was quite warm during our July stay and stayed warm overnight, making it uncomfortable for sleeping.Overall, we really enjoyed the location and privacy of the home, and with a few small improvements, this would be an even better place to stay.
