In addition to the ocean view guests have a view of Devil's Lake and will be in close driving distance to shops and restaurants. This home boasts a living room with a wood stove, a full kitchen for making tasty meals, a spacious furnished deck with a grill, and a family room complete with a TV, DVD library, and a plethora of board games. This was a great space in a great location. The house was clean and cozy. The only issues we found could probably easily be remedied. Couch in tv room is pretty broken down with springs near surface and not to comfy to sit on. The dining chairs need tightened up, a bit rickety. My biggest concern was a leaky garbage disposal that left stinky standing water under the kitchen sink. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was homey and a great place away from the daily.

We loved the cabin and the view. I feel like it could've been a little cleaner. I think the washer needs to be upgraded very soon. And I think that people should have a better understanding about the driveway. It is VERY steep. Large vehicles will not make it, there are some narrow spots and you will need 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive and even then, hope its not raining, and then say a prayer too! Then the door entry code at 10 numbers, was a bit long. Other than that, it was very quiet, beautiful views and a cool cabin. Just be cautious.

The views are amazing and the home was clean and mostly comfortable. The couch in the TV room is not in great shape. There are springs inside the cushions. The kitchen chairs are wobbly and the outdoor bbq is on its last leg. The deck is nice and has a few chairs and tables. The beds are comfortable and the view from the main bedroom is outstanding! There was a terrible odor that came from under the sink cabinet. I had to call the rental agency twice. One time to help to get inside the cabin. (The code they gave to open the door was the same code to open the gate.) The second time was to notify them that while washing dishes during check out, the water hose under the sink disconnected. The cabin was cool with great views but I would probably not rent it again. If they fixed the issues, I would recommend it.

We had a terrific stay.

This cabin is located on a hill in the forest just outside of Lincoln City with a fabulous view and absolute privacy. It was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and so quiet. There was a functioning wood stove and the kitchen had all the we needed. The deck is very large, all new wood, with outdoor seating and a gas bbq. We had a terrific stay and highly recommend it.

Driveway way too steep!! King bed very comfortable. Kitchen equipped great deck with views. Toilet leaked upstairs. Our check-in was pushed back an hour it wasn’t ready. Won’t stay here again too far of the beaten path.

Great Views - Quiet Cabin

We loved our stay and had a nice, relaxing vacation. The cabin was in decent shape and the deck seems to be completely rebuilt. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and watching the sunset over the lake and ocean in the evening. The cabin is close enough to town, but is nestled away in the woods. We will come back!

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay, especially the cozy cabin feel, the woodstove, the private woodsy setting, and of course the back deck with view! Driveway is super steep (as previously noted) and stairs to house are a bit of a workout (which we didn't mind but some might). Dining chairs are wobbly and couldn't be tightened. House was nice and clean but could use overall deep clean. Definitely would stay again!

Awsome views

Place was awsome. Could use some updates. Couch in tv room has issues. Balcony needs some major attention. Please watch hand rails and some of the floor. Some rooms have moldy smell. Over all we all enjoyed our stay.

Great beach cabin with one minor issue

recently stayed at this charming beach cabin and had an overall fantastic experience. The location is perfect, with stunning views. The cabin itself is well-maintained, cozy, and has all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway.However, I have to mention that the couch in the living area is in desperate need of replacement. It’s very uncomfortable, which detracted a bit from the otherwise perfect stay. Updating the couch would definitely make this place a 5-star rental!Despite this, I would still recommend this cabin for its many other great qualities. With a new couch, it would be absolutely perfect!

Decent Getaway Close to Oregon Coast

Positive: The Beanstalk was a decent week getaway for the family. The property is very secluded and is in a beautiful forest with outstanding views of the lake. The cabin slept six people comfortably and the property was in fair condition. Negative: Upon arriving, the property was not very clean. There were 8 piles of dog poop around the property we had to clean up and there were maggots in the trash (it had not been removed for a while). Vicasa was nonresponsive when we tried to contact them regarding issues throughout the stay. The driveway is very steep and took everything our Subaru had to climb it. This made walks to and from the cabin uncomfortable.

Terrible experience

We were so excited for our 3 night vacation to the Oregon coast. It was my partner’s birthday and our baby’s first time to the beach. We realized quickly into arriving that we couldn’t stay in the home we rented due to the condition it was in. The photos falsely advertised this place. It was dirty, stained and unbelievably smelly. It was so bad we ended up leaving and went back home. I then spent the next two days going back and forth with vacasa to get a refund. They claimed the home was clean and that they wouldn’t refund us. We will never rent again from VRBO.

Wonderful, quiet place to unwind.

This well appointed cabin/house was cozy and had all the basics needed and some fun extras. Many small appliances made staying in very comfortable. There were quite a few staples available in small quantities so that if you didn't want to bring everything, you still had the basics. The only thing I missed was a knife sharper stone. There were games, puzzles, movies and books as well as some streaming services. During this last week of October, we had rain, sun and even an Autumn storm! The trees were glorious and we had several sightings of the same few deer. The fog was beautiful and the off-the-beaten-path location was very private and peaceful. The driveway is steep and was slick with rain and pine needles. One of our cars slid and got stuck, and we had a hard time finding a tow company on a Friday afternoon. Be careful, 4-wheel drive would be nice (but I did ok without). In spite of this the view was amazing and worth the steep hill. There was also a strong mold smell in the cabin that required airing out. This could be hard on those with breathing problems, but we were ok after a bit. This could have been affected by the time of year. Overall, this is a wonderful place for quiet and peace. Might not be great for those with mobility or breathing problems.

Our stay was lovely! The view was truly breathtaking. Entering the cabin felt like coming back to a family cabin that we'd been visiting since childhood. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the king bed was so comfortable, and did I mention the VIEW?!?!The guest books were charmin. I brought my art supplies, so I mended the much older guest book that was in disrepair. A few things:-The couch in the TV room was (I promise I'm not exaggerating) the worst couch I've ever sat on. I'm shocked the fabric is still holding the springs from poking through. - The light in the dining room is wired to the hood vent in the kitchen, and having both of them on is the only way to stop the light from strobing. PEOPLE WITH EPILEPSY, PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS. - The Casage customer chat was awful. Our truck battery died, and they promised to send someone out to fix it. They then ghosted us for 8 hours (well past our checkout time) and we were stranded, not wanted to violate the strict "Do not contact the neighbors" policy. We were rescued by a very confused and kind property manager who had not heard a peep from Casago. Other than that, it was a wonderful place to celebrate our engagement, and the property itself could be top-tier with a few minor adjustments. Thanks for the memories!

This cabin was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were great! Super quick to respond to any questions and very helpful! The views were stunning and the beds were comfortable, what more could you ask for? We will definitely be returning!
