The Space:

Situated right on the beach, you'll be less than a mile from the shops and restaurants of Pacific City's main business district and just half a mile south of Pelican Brewing. Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area is one mile north, where you can find tidepools, hiking trails, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view.



The interior of this home is exquisite, with vaulted ceilings and polished, heated concrete floors. In the living area, an oversized sectional faces an expansive wall of windows, which provide views of the ocean and Haystack Rock. Sink into the plush cushions and watch the tide roll in, or browse the cable channels on the TV.



Next to the living room, the modern, open kitchen features updated stainless steel appliances and a spacious central island. Blinds in the kitchen don't work; had to buy clips to keep them open to see the view. A few windows either have broken locks or unable to open. Shower in master bath moldy and missing tiles, which creates a sharp hazard. Kitchen table was sandy upon check in.

We’ve scheduled maintenance to repair or replace the kitchen blinds and to fix window locks so all windows operate properly. Our maintenance and housekeeping teams are addressing the shower tiles and mold as a priority, and housekeeping will re-clean and reinforce checklists to prevent sandy surfaces at check-in. Beautiful Beach View! Kitchen had everything we needed. If you bring in a lot of your own food you would need to move things around in order to put it in the cupboards. It was just myself and my 88 yr old mom, she could not have climbed in and out of the second bedrooms bed. It was really tall. The built in closet hanging area was high as well. A foot stool would be handy. ( I’m 5’4” had to stand on my toes)Had some trouble with the garage door, called the property manager and she was 2 minutes away and she came and took care of it right away! House was perfect for our mother-daughter getaway!

Lovely stay, prompt help when needed.

We had a problem with the key box, a little hard to navigate who to call but when we got through they were excellent and sent local ream to solve the problem.

Wonderful location; spacious kitchen and common room; kitchen is well equipped, huge dining table for meals and games. We loved this house, and would definitely go back!

Amazing view of the ocean, however several lights were burned out, the garage door did not work. I contacted vacasa & they were supposed to have someone come fix it & they never did. The sheets had sand in them & a dirty towel left under the sink. This is a beautiful house & very comfortable. There is not direct access from the house as there is a large sand dune in front. We had a great time spent at this house with family.

Another great stay in Pacific City

Great property, location and layout. Well stocked for the most part and we had an absolute blast. Could use some more forks and spoons but thats really the only issue we had, so that should tell you something. Would absolutely stay again.
