The Space:

This fabulous, professionally decorated unit at Water's Edge has been newly remodeled with a fresh, cheerful beach decor. Updated furniture, granite countertops, and a full kitchen await you in this tropical style getaway. Sleeping 6 people, the unit has a master bedroom, hallway bunks flushed into the wall and a queen size sleeper in the Living Room. Each of the bunk beds features its own wall mounted LED TV for a special touch. Floors throughout the unit have been upgraded to tile and the 9' ceiling creates a spacious feel. The balcony height patio furniture allows for an unobstructed, panoramic view of the sugary white beach above the railing. With glass doors running floor to ceiling, the view of the beach is stunning from this optimal 3rd-floor balcony, perched just above the treetops. The location of the unit above the boardwalk is an ideal spot to sip a cool drink while people watching, or just enjoying the spectacular sunrises and sunsets above the emerald green water. This splendid home away from home is just minutes from the Boardwalk where you can enjoy fishing, shopping, and a sunset meal on the Gulf of Mexico. Please be advised that Waters Edge is not a pet-friendly property.

Property is in a great location with a beautiful view. The property was clean and quiet, as this was our first time staying outside the city limits of Destin. I did not rate the property 5 stars because both televisions were very small. We wanted to watch the CFP playoffs, but the cable did not have ESPN and both TVs were approximately 13 inches. We had to watch the game on our phones. OTHERWISE, this property is very nice.

Was everything we needed for family beach vacation! View and location perfect! Beds comfortable for all of us. Condo was well equipped to meet all our needs! Especially for price you cannot beat it!!

Overall great location and room

Burners on stove need replaced also lacked some normal kitchen utensils. I love the location, very easy to get to grocery store and restaurants in Destin.

Exactly as advertised

Loved having coffee in the morning on the balcony and looking for dolphins, and so convenient to the stairs/elevator to get to the beach & even to our car. And very nice surprise to have a reclining chair to relax in also!

Loved this condo

We enjoyed our stay here and plan to return. Our balcony over the walkway was just perfect. Beach service was outstanding and accommodated our special request. Most importantly, we had a minor family emergency and the property management checked in on us via phone multiple times. Their kindness and attention was so warm and unexpected.

Everything about the complex was pretty good for a older condo. The unit was good, everything we needed was there and worked properly. Just a nice unit with comfortable furnishings. Nothing fancy just right. The support staff was on the ball, needed them twice and they were prompt and resolved the issues.

As advertised

This property had mixed reviews, but this 6 story older place met all my families needs. It’s family vibe was relaxing and the water was great. This condo has new countertops, and paint. All the other stuff is older but works with the exception of the ice maker. We enjoyed our stay overall, and would recommend for a small family beach weekend.

Excellent Stay!

Our week was wonderful! Perfect view. Condo was great and will stay again. Minor flaws such as wifi went in and out for a day or two, shower was alittle dirty, probably a sign needs to be placed near the dryer to where exactly the lint trap is or could be a fire hazzard (we didn't see it in the back of the drum for a couple days), like other reviews the beds weren't the most comfortable but better than not having anything to sleep on (noticed before we left that the middle piece of the metal frame is laying on the floor under the bed of the bedroom). I can't express how amazing our week went and thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo! We will be back.

Fresh coat of paint does not fix things.

Just to let anyone know that is interested in this unit. First thing, wi-fi did not work. Was given the wrong info to connect to it by the Resort Quest printed out info. The TV did not work. Had to call maintenance the first thing. The dishwasher does not work, the bed frame was broke, the sleeper couch was nasty. The location of the condo though, was good and I could sit on the balcony and watch my teenage granddaughters swim in the pool.

Property was awesome. The unit not so much

Property was awesome. The unit we stayed in needs maintenance. I was very disappointed with the price we paid. Fridge didn’t cool for 24 hrs , we had to buy a cooler, then after that , it froze all our sandwich meat and soft drinks on the third day. WiFi NEVER worked. Air conditioning did Not reach the bedroom. Thank Goodness for the ceiling fan. Then to top it off the air stopped working on Thursday with an error. Was miserable. I attempted to call and report without success. Also texted with all texts returned without delivering. Just very disappointing. Unit needs updating. Have already been asked by friends if this place was acceptable. I did say yes because the condo was very nice as my two sons also had units there the same time without complaints other than NO WIFI. Always try to stay with Wyndham , but this unit was not up to par. Certainly did not get the satisfaction I deserved compared to the price I paid. Thank you for listening.

Not a great place for teens

Really wasn't anything other than a pool and a volleyball net here for kids. Check in was through text messaging, there is a sign on the office door that states no one can help you and you have to call a number. You have to beg for early check in. They clearly state there is no check in until 4:00 but after I kept asking, telling them we traveled over 11 hours, they finally gave us a check in around 2:00. The condo was clean and spacious. The kids liked the bunk beds that have separate tv's for each, however, the top bunk tv wouldn't work. I let them know and they had me try different things to get it to work. They asked me to put new batteries in the remote, I don't generally travel with extra batteries lol . They offered to send maintenance but we were there for a football tournament so we couldn't fit that into our schedule, so one kid did without. The fridge has an ice maker that makes ice, but it wouldn't dispense it. The refrigerator froze all of our food even after adjusting the temp. There's a 4-digit code to get in the pool area, then there's a 6-digit code for the room. I was so aggravated with having to remember these. They need to update access with key cards or something. I felt like I was in a maximum-security area. The condo does give you 2 free chairs and an umbrella that a guy sets up on the beach. He lets you know that he expects tips, which is fine. There are 2 full baths in the unit which made it nice with having kids. They have 2 different coffee pots in the unit, one for k-cups and the other for a pot of coffee. There is a washer and dryer. They give you a good supply of towels, but you need to have your own beach towels. The kitchen is stocked well to cook and bake. They give you starter supplies of coffee, dish and laundry soap. There are no restaurants within walking distance. You have to have a car to get anywhere. The view from the room balcony was perfect. We have friends with kids that stayed at another condo down the beach, and it had tons of activities for kids. There was supposed to be a grill here for use, but we couldn't find it. There is free covered parking for 2 cars. Overall, the place was clean and spacious with a beautiful, perfect ocean view. This place is fine for adults, but there are better places to stay if you have kids.
