The Space:

Beautifully positioned to offer an amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico, this third-floor condo features a modern and serene living space overlooking private beach access on Panama City Beach's sugar sand shores. Lounge in the living area during a beach break and catch up with a favorite series on the TV. Mix a frosty cocktail in the well-equipped, full kitchen and take it out to the furnished balcony. Whether you're a couple on a romantic getaway or a small family in search of that unforgettable beach trip, this condo is the ideal spot for that next home away from home.



Sunbird Resort is centrally located between the East and West ends of the strip and offers a quiet getaway on a private stretch of beach access. Sunbird also boasts amenities like community volleyball and tennis courts, shuffleboard, a fitness room, and three Gulf-front pools, one of which is seasonally heated. Plus, a tropical hut has been added to the property for beer, wine, and food.



Things to Know

Guests must be 25 years or older. Those who are not must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.

Parking passes and wristbands must be purchased at the HOA office on-site. Parking passes are $30 per pass (one max) and amenity wristbands are $6 per band (four max). Wristbands must be worn by everyone over the age of 12.

We really loved the unit! Beautiful view of the gulf! The only thing that could be improved is the coffee maker. Force of the hot water into the grounds caused the grounds into the coffee pot. Otherwise, a very comfy and beautiful place.

Everything in the Condo was clean and well supplied

We enjoyed our stay They are working on the building When we arrived, we saw construction all around us. The Condo was excellent once we got use to it Would recommend this Condo to family and friends.

Overall great!

The unit was fantastic as far as remoldeled, scenic views, cleanliness. However, it may have been even better had we not had drilling noises from 8-4 most days and debri falling on our balcony. It may have been best not to have rented this particular unit when construction was so close.

Pleasant stay

What a perfect start to our summer! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo! Beautiful views, great access to the beach and quiet and relaxing! We had no issues with the condo or the management and the construction was nothing like the prior reviews made it out to be. If i had a suggestion to give, it would be to add more towel hooks and a small food pantry or cabinet. We just needed a place to hang beach towels other than the balcony. Other than that, it was perfect and that really didnt damper our stay at all! We will definitely be back to stay again!

Great Place……

The place was great and my parents throughly enjoyed themselves. It was very clean however there were a few small things my mom wanted me to address so I didn’t get charged. a small red spot on the duvet cover, the kitchen faucet is loose and the middle piece of the chair on the deck is broken. The room has been very nice. They’re doing a lot of construction here so limited parking right now. Overall it was great

Noisy

The actual property was good. However, construction/renovation was very noisy all day and every day. The view from our deck was scaffolding with debris flying through the air. The ad for the condo did not mention that this would be happening during our stay. Vacasa offered us a whole $25 compensation for the inconvenience.

We left a day early

We were told SOME construction. We were NOT told we could not use the balcony. Also a wall of windows with no curtains. No privacy from workers on scaffolding. No directions for the Three remotes for TV. The loudest noise kept us from our building from 8am. Til 5 No sleeping in on vacation. Will not recommend

Avoid VACASA at all costs

Let me start by saying the building and location were beautiful and the unit has so much potential but due to management/Vacasa, I give this one star. A month prior to our arrival I noticed a negative review for this unit stating the balcony was not available to them. Seeing as the balcony is a major selling point I called and asked if the balcony would be available during our stay. For two weeks I battled with them to call me back/move us or refund our money but they refused and said "Hopefully construction will be done by then but idk" ****side note: Vacasa customer service is sent overseas and you talk to someone that has to "email" or call the local owners but they will not transfer you to anyone local or give their number. Their customer service says they will call you back with an answer but they never do. Regardless of the balcony issue, we pushed forward since they wouldn't move us or refund us and just hoped we would have the balcony to use. The day we arrive the A/C was out....we ended up calling them 7plus times all night trying to get someone to fix it, bring us fans, or move us. They refused and said we would have to wait till Monday. ( it was Friday) We found ourselves talking to another property management company (Real Joy)that knows how bad Vacasa is and told us they had other units that were empty so no reason why they weren't able to move us. It was 80+ in the room as we slept and finally delivered a fan at 10 pm the next day.... They told us we would be compensated for each day we didn't have AC but of course, we got nothing and no return calls. In short. Do not book with Vacasa Do not let them manage your unit. Just don't do it...

That said, we apologize for the issues you encountered that kept you from fully enjoying your stay. When the HVAC goes out, we have to reach out to a vendor to have repairs made and unfortunately, they aren't always able to come out the same day. We are glad we could deliver fans to the home but are sorry for your discomfort during this time. To clarify, our online listing does indicate that balconies would be having work done but we deeply regret this detracted from your stay. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future and provide an amazing vacation experience.
