The Space:

Let this Collins Lake Condos vacation rental be your gateway to all the activities available in and around the 28-acre Collins Lake Resort. Offering deluxe amenities like a shared pool, hot tub, and sauna, this retreat is the ideal spot for family getaways. Inside, you'll have a 50-inch flatscreen TV and gas fireplace for cozy days in, a full kitchen for whipping up delicious meals, and free WiFi to keep everyone plugged in. The private balcony offers mountain views filtered through the pines.



Government Camp is the perfect headquarters for summer or winter fun. There are lots of hiking and biking trails near this chalet. Skiers can take advantage of the special at Mount Hood Meadows, or head over to any of the five ski areas nearby. Hungry? Follow the walking trails the short distance into nearby Government Camp where you'll find a variety of restaurants. Guests are also just steps away from the Collins Lake clubhouse with its grand Cascadian stone fireplace.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this townhome. It is large enough, very cozy, it has everything we need for our short vacation.It's a great place, and we would definitely do that again!

Great place to stay in a quiet condo development in Government Camp. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops in Govy and just a short 6 mile drive to Timberline and summer skiing. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens and all areas were extremely clean. Shared on site pool and hot tub were great. Highly recommend it for your next stay in Govy.

Awesome condo; repeat renter

I love this condo. The location to the ski slopes is perfect. The condo was clean and nicely decorated, has a balcony that overlooks trees, and is not too far of a walk to the pool and hot tubs. It was ready a couple of hours early and we received a text that we could have early check in, which was nice.

Amazing condo

This condo was so beautiful and clean. We had a 3 guest for our stay. We had plenty of space for everyone . We all had our own bedroom. Such a wonderful setting at government camp. Close to hiking and and afternoons at the lake. Timberline Lodge is beautiful to visit. I would definitely rent this condo again

Enjoyable experience!

We were here for a week and couldn't be happier. This place is great as it is walking distance to town, it has very functional kitchen/grill and great living room set-up, and most importantly it stayed pretty cool when it was high 80F outside the last 2 days we stayed. WiFi works perfectly that we were able to watch TV without any disturbance. The community also has a swimming pool/hot tub that is great for the summer. Vacasa is always one of my favorites because it doesn't matter who you speak to, it is consistent and superb - clear communication and prompt service! I will definitely get the same house again for next summer!

Family New Years Trip

We had a wonderful time spending New Years at Collins Lake. The condo was clean and comfortable. A couple things that need attention is the lower right burner on the stove was not working (I think I saw this issue on a previous clients comment) and a few more serving plates or bowls would have been nice. Lastly the master bedroom mattress is needing to be replaced since it has a dip in the middle of the mattress so it was a bit uncomfortable. But overall it was a great stay and we would come back again:) (hopefully with this items addressed) Thank you!

Very clean, well appointed and comfortable unit! Absolutely no issues! Would rent this unit again in a heartbeat. An added bonus was that our GMC Yukon fit in the garage with the Packasport ski box still on top!! We also loved the big heat vent right at the top of the stairs under the coat hooks (which were plentiful and was wonderful for drying our coats and shoes). Note: stairs are a bit steep, though not a problem for any of us.

Wonderful Weekend Stay

The chalet was clean with ample towels, blankets and toiletries. Little did we know we would be without power for 29 hours due to freezing temperatures and snow! Thank goodness there were 2 battery operated lanterns and detailed instructions in the binder so we were able to stay warm enough using the gas fireplace and gas stove to make tea. The Vacasa staff were helpful too. It was so nice to have a garage and well appointed kitchen. If it weren't for the weather and icy roads, we would have easily walked to the restaurants and shops in town. It is a 5 minute drive to the Timberline shuttle parking lot or 20-30 minutes to drive up to the lodge (depending on road conditions.) When we had power, there were detailed instructions for using the TV. We were not able to use the pool. Overall a great place for our family of 3.

Needs some improvements

Plumbing did not work well upstairs in hall shower and required plunging. The master bath sink leaked inside the cabinet and got all the toilet paper wet. Kitchen cooking utensils need updating. The bunk bed space is more like a closet with no windows, no door and no privacy. It would have been nice to have known there was no privacy in this space, but this was not clear in the write up and not shown in the pictures. Kitchen refrigerator leaked water on the top shelf and created a mess. Master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable, but the room was fine. The dresser drawers need to be wiped down. Metal hangers in the closet was not ideal for clothes we brought to hang. We had extra blankets and pillows but no extra pillowcases.Living room and 2nd floor area was nice for hanging out. More options to hang clothes (not in closets) would be nice with all the snow gear.

Maintenance lacking

The condo was nice and new and comfortable. The only problem we had was the smoke alarm continued to beep. Maintenance came to replace the battery, but the next day another alarm started beeping. We called several times and no one showed. It was discovered that maintenance scheduled the repair for our checkout date. The beeping alarm was in one of the bedrooms. They told us to take a broom handle to disable it. We did. It only stopped for while, then started beeping again. I had to take a 10 ft ladder up to the 3 rd floor bedroom(I’m 78 years old, what a lawsuit that could’ve been) and disconnect it. It kind of soured an otherwise pleasant trip.

Great Ski getaway

Nice place. Plenty of room. Able to walk into town to eat (10min walk). 15 min Drive to Timberline. 25mins to Meadows. Perfect spot for hitting Mt Hood resorts.

Needs TLC

Location was great and the condo is a good size. Community pool & 2 hot tubs were great. You can walk to many restaurants and shops on the main drag. This is really a 2 bedroom not 3 but we didn’t need/use all the bedrooms so was fine for us. However the carpet and sectional in the living room were disgusting and smelly. Bottom of the shower bath in the master was grimy so we ended up using the hall bath which was cleaner. Gas stove burners were misfiring which was a little nerve wrecking as the odor of natural gas would fill up the kitchen while the pilot was malfunctioning.
