This 3-bedroom cottage features one king bed and two queen beds, plus extra sleeping space in the living rooms featuring a twin bed and a sofa bed. Two bathrooms provide convenience for everyone. The serene atmosphere invites relaxation, while the excellent layout ensures plenty of room to unwind. The elevated property is located half way between the ocean and the Currituck Sound which means unobstructed, breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset. The house has everything you need to have a comfortable stay and settle into the easy, slow pace of life on the sandbar.
**Please note this property is on the 4x4 beach. You need a 4 wheel drive car to access the property.

Luke’s place was the perfect place for my friends and I to get away. The cottage is beautiful and very clean. The views from every deck were amazing. The crow’s nest deck was a prime spot for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee and for star gazing at night. The hot tub and gas grill access were added bonuses. It was also awesome to have horses visit in the yard every evening. It’s easy access to the 4x4 beach. We had the best time and would definitely stay there again.

The 4x4 is a unique area. The area has a unique blend of wildlife and residents. The sunrises and sunsets are hard to beat. I enjoy the ability to drive right down to the shoreline up on the 4x4 beach.

The VIEWS. It is one of the highest houses on this stretch of beach, so the views of the sound and the ocean are beautiful.
