Amazing location

We recently stayed at Ronnie's place for a family vacation. The location is fantastic - the beach is a minute walk from the property. The house was super clean and the location was really quiet. The house itself had everything we needed to cook at home, which we did a few times. There's beach toys and chairs, which made it really easy to go to the beach. Belmont Park and some restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away. Having a parking spot is a massive plus, especially in the summer when parking is tight. The only downside is that the AC is only in the main bedroom not the rest of the house, but there's a ton of fans in the other rooms.

Absolutely amazing place to stay in Mission Beach…what a find! I’ve stayed at rentals all over the USA, particularly ones at the beach and I’ve never enjoyed one as much as this one. The patio is simply amazing, the house is super cute, clean and well maintained. The garage was an huge bonus and it was loaded with high quality beach gear, bikes, boards, chairs, umbrellas, smash ball paddles…it had everything one might want or need. I’ll be back for sure!

Perfect getaway!

Literally steps from the beach. Location is safe and quiet. The community is friendly. Beach is not overcrowded. Great location for exploring San Diego and/or hanging out at the beach. Ronnie is very kind and great with communicating. E'toile de Mer is somewhere we look forward to visiting again. It was just what we needed as a family, a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Amazing stay in San Diego

Loved the house and location. It was quiet but close enough to walk to stores, attractions, food, etc. Would sty here again. Ronnie was amazingly attentive and responsive.

Beautiful. Peaceful. Relaxing.

We thought we were sacrificing. Our family has grown over 10 years and a 2nd house was needed, so we took one for the team and got our own cottage! We’ve never been more relaxed or refreshed! Ended every night holding hands in the perfect courtyard. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and beds were very comfortable. Location, cottage and courtyard were filled with nice extras. Our stay was the gift we didn’t know we needed!

Another wonder stay!

Spent another wonderful week for spring break with my 9 and 13 year old daughters at this beautiful beach house. The property is exactly as described and only a few quick steps to the beach. One of my favorite aspects is the quiet and secluded front patio where we enjoyed evening fires waiting for the sun to set. Ronnie was once again a fabulous host. I would not hesitate to bring my girls back for a 3rd time. Thanks again Ronnie for a wonderful stay!

Great Stay in South Mission Beach

We have been coming to South Mission Beach for over 10 years now and have probably stayed at 8 or 9 different places. This was one of our favorites. The front Patio area is by far the best we have had and the owners were wonderful hosts.

Great Property

We do a girls trip to Mission Beach every 1-2 years and this is the first time we stayed on the south side. The property was great. There was plenty of room to park in the garage and the rooms were comfortable. You can’t beat being a minute walk from the beach! We would stay here again!

Great spot

Loved it!

We LOVED our stay at the beach house! It was absolutely as listed. Loved all the beach items that were available for use. Also it was just steps to the beach & basketball court. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay in Mission Beach. The property was perfect for our group. The outdoor patio in particular was great with plenty of seating for us and some visitors. The fire pit made the evenings plenty warm during a cool few days. It was close to everything we needed. We'll be back.

Absolutely Beautiful & Great Quality

We had an amazing stay in Mission Beach, and this property made it even better! The inside is beautiful and the outside patio was amazing!! We utilized it so much and loved the fireplace and grill! The outside table and lawn furniture were high quality and comfortable! The inside was beautifully decorated and smelt so good when we arrived. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils we needed, and the high end fridge and stove were great! The bedrooms have great storage in the closet and the master was very spacious, comfortable bedding too! The garage was a highlight as well! So spacious and stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc- all of which we put to great use! It was great to have access to the washer/dryer as well! The two bikes were a wonderful addition, we used them daily and it was a joy to have that as an added bonus in the property! The hosts were so easy to get a hold of if we needed and are so kind! This is no doubt a 5 star property; my only suggestion is that there could be more basic spices and coffee included. Our experiences in the past with stays have always had that, particularly a coffee bar, but I understand certain covid cautious are still in place for included items like that. THANK YOU for putting such love into your property, it really did make our family vacation so much more special! We look forward to hopefully staying with you again!

We welcome you to our 1957 charming beach cottage and hope you enjoy your stay. Recently remodeled to its original charm, updated for your convenience and comfort. Our court has a unique ambiance and is considered one of the most desirable in south Mission Beach.

We had been renting in north Mission Beach for the past 13 summers and enjoyed each summer with our daughters. We found our cottage on VRBO three years ago for a long weekend and saw great potential. I kept in contact with the owner on the chance that it might be put on the market. And it did! Our court is truly one of the most desirable courts in south Mission Beach. We have wonderful full-time neighbors!
