Amazing view!!

Million Dollar View lives up to it's name. We enjoyed our week at this well-equipped house, with the COMFIEST couch, plenty of outdoor (and beach) furniture, and a kitchen which even had storage containers! (sometimes, it's the little things...) The 7 of us hung out comfortably indoors, ate almost every meal at the picnic table on the screened-in back porch, and back-and-forthed to the beach all day over the fairly new private staircase over the dunes just across the beach road.

Fantastic property! The kitchen was well stocked and all beach items needed were provided. The view was great and beach access was easy. We really appreciated the organization and thought given to little details like games and puzzles. Hope to stay here again!

Great stay

Great stay, great views, great location. All the beach toys you need. We brought a large cooler since there was no outdoor fridge and it all worked out perfectly.

It was a wonderful home and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were right across the street from the beach, with easy access and absolutely beautiful views. We loved our time there and will definitely rebook if we return to Kitty Hawk!

Amazing Home

My family really enjoyed this house and the million dollar views it offered. The house was so well stocked with everything we needed to cook and we were so impressed with all the toys, books, puzzles, etc. you have available for the kids. It was also nice to have all the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards provided. The kids ended up really enjoying the hot tub all week because the water at the beach was full of stinging nettles. The people at Shoreline OBX were also extremely friendly and wonderful to work with. We will definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Always a great place to stay!

We started staying here in 2015, spending a week every summer. It's a nice house. Always clean and has everything one needs in the kitchen. The view from the porch is beautiful. And it's a simple walk across the street to get to the beach. There are NO houses or anything anywhere close to the house on the beach and it's definitely not crowded at all. The house comes equipped with whatever you need to sit out there: chairs, umbrella, wagon, kids stuff, paddle boards, etc… It also has a pack n play and a toddler chair for inside use. The hot tub is always clean and a nice place to relax on cooler days/evenings. And the living room contains nearly every board game imaginable.

Outstanding OXO Home

Lovely, updated, functional beach house. Location is absolutely perfect!! Water views, great deck, plenty of chairs and the view is perfect!! Easy beach access and quiet area in Kitty Hawk. Kitchen fully stocked. Mattresses are wonderful!! Owner's cares dearly for the property.

Excellent

The house was great as always. We love the new walkway but the down side is that it looks so good and better than the others that we kept having renters from the next door houses using it instead of using theirs and it was a bit bothersome every time we looked out the door or went to use it the neighbors was on it. Maybe a sign on the post would help??

This is our 3rd year in a row. Conveniently located across from the beach. There are upgrades every year. They built a staircase to the beach across the sand dune. Well stocked , very clean.

Always a beautiful place to stay

We have stayed here every summer for the past 9-10 years. It's a lovely house. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything one needs, the beds are comfortable, there are plenty of beach chairs and sand toys. My only suggestion is this: if you don't like the rising sun to wake you, bring a set of portable travel blackout curtains. They can be bought from Amazon and are about $25/pair. They use suction cups to adhere to the window and provide great coverage if you don't want to wake up super early. My husband and I use them only at night, removing them when we get up. The house has easy, private beach access. There are so many excellent restaurants, activities, and fun shops in the obx and the house is situated in a perfect location for all of it.

Excellent

Most well equipped home we've ever rented. ALL the comforts of home included. Plan to rent the same home next year! Will save me from bringing favorite knives, cooking pans, beach chairs, etc. Love the unobstructed view of the ocean as well as the short walk there.

KH-4 - Million $ View Sun-Sun

The home was excellent - best equipped kitchen ever - I have been renting beach vacation homes for 30 years - Miami, Destin, Myrtle Beach, Tybee Island - no other comes close to quality/quantity. The choice of furniture and layout of the home also great, well done by the owners, very comfortable. Back screened porch was a great place to have lunch, dinner get away from the TV. Beds where comfortable no problem sleeping. There were three of us at the house all adults. View as advertised. If you are getting beach equipment ahead of time don't bother with a beach wagon, no way to get that wagon up the stairs going over the dunes or those umbrella tables - no way to get those level. Pulling the wagon loaded up with equipment/youngsters, along the road to the public beach access, which does not have stairs, is a dicey situation with the traffic.

Great Place!

This was our first time renting this house. It felt like home from the moment we arrived. Clean. Comfortable. Very well maintained. We loved all of the covered outdoor space. Easy walk to the beach. The owners really thought of everything. Highly recommend this rental.

A lovely home

We have stayed in this house for a week every year since 2016. It is always clean and very well equipped. The owners always seem to do more updates during the off season, perfecting something that is already very nice. It really does have a "million $ view" from the porch. There are plenty of places to hang out, both inside and out, when not on the beach.

Million dollar view

Beautiful house. Well stocked with everything we could have needed. Some may have found the beach replenishment a negative. We watched the ships come and go with loads of sand. Learned a lot about the process. Also the beds were a little soft for our liking. Over all would stay there again. Was a great week. Thank you

Incredibly stocked home, prime location

The house was perfect for our group of close friends and family. The kitchen is more stocked than any other house we have rented. The walk across the street to the beach is so short and saves so much time. The living areas are all very well kept and provided ample space and amenities for the entire group. The one thing I will say that could use improvement is the entrance to the beach. Comparing to other beach accesses, it could certainly use some renovation. The stairs were partially buried with sand and the wooden decking has been completely covered. Also the vegetation on the sides of the access is growing into the walking path pretty significantly, hanging up on the beach cart and taking up a good portion of the available walking space.

Always a pleasure to stay!

This is our second year at MDV. The location is wonderful, the amenities are thoughtful. The mattresses are a problem. The beds are very uncomfortable. The hot tub was very foamy.

Love this house

This is a beautiful, well kept home. We find new upgrades every year. The view really is beautiful from the front porch. The porch is covered so it's nice to just sit in the shade or out of the rain. This house sleeps 9 and there's enough space so that no one feels crowded. The kitchen is well stocked with anything one needs to cook or bake. This year, we did something different. I actually brought down most of our food items so we didn't have to go to the grocery store right away. A good cooler kept our food cold for the 2 day drive and the dry goods were in a laundry basket. The local grocery store is a complete zoo on the weekends so if you can at least bring a couple of days worth of stuff, it made life a little easier. Also, please note the restaurants are all currently very short staffed and as a result, some are closed two days a week or they close earlier than normal and some just don't seat as many patrons. We found it best to either call early and do carry out or go out to eat at the off times to get a table. If you are looking for a delightful place to stay in a good central location, this is your place.
