We absolutely loved our stay! The house was spotless (no cobwebs even on the covered porch) and the perfect size for 6 adults plus our dog. The kitchen was one of the best stocked we’ve seen in a rental, with s’more supplies and fresh coffee beans. Our barista niece loved the espresso machine and made us lattes every morning. The property felt private, even with guests in the carriage house, and the nearby waterfall hike was a great surprise. It isn’t just a flat stroll, but absolutely worth the effort. The hot tub (with spa robes), cold plunge, and large dining tables inside and out made it easy to relax and enjoy time together.Paradise parking lot at Mt. Rainier was about an hour’s drive, longer than expected, but we'd still stay here again vs staying closer to the park. Stevens Canyon entrance is the closest.Good to know: there’s a full-size coffee pot, grinder, and espresso machine (no Keurig, woot!), 3 pedestal fans (if you're a fan sleeper), propane for the grill, and a couple of bundles of wood included. The only minor issue was the Wi-Fi. We came to unplug and were on the mountain most of the time, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but the signal dropped often and none of us had cell service (T-Mobile/Verizon), which made downloading trail maps and researching hikes a bit tricky.Overall, we could not have asked for a better stay!
