Wedding Weekend

The property overall was excellent. We were confused about the location of the condo. We assumed it would be on the 5th floor because of the number. We remembered it was a penthouse unit, so we finally located it on the 6th floor. The only thing that i think the unit needs is better lighting in the bedrooms, hand holds in the tubs and raised potties. Also, the blinds in the bedroom were tied up, so we weren't able to lower them. The toilet seat in the master bath needs attention. Overall it was a perfect location for us. We were only a couple of miles from the wedding venue. The property is absolutely beautiful.. i would highly recommend this property . Also, we had breakfast at a place called Rodies. It was close by and so good.

Great location and proximity to the beach if you have small children. Pool was just a short distance away and walkable. Neighborhood was clean and secure.

Perfect location and beach - terrible condo.

Perfect location and beach - condo needs a lot of improvements and TLC! Nasty carpet, uncomfortable couch and master bed. Outdoor table and chairs, peeling - rusty. Recliner chair that was nearly broken down. My 9th stay at this complex and definitely the worst condo.

Excellent property

The property was exactly as listed. Clean and in a very desirable location. All bedding was comfortable. The only complaint we had was that the twin beds squeaked terribly but they were comfortable otherwise. Also would have been helpful to have information on how TV's worked. All seemed to have a different way of working. Balcony was fantastic as well as pools on property.

Beautiful condo and view

We really enjoyed the condo! It had plenty of space and the maintenance dept was very helpful and nice! Would definitely stay here again! It’s true that there are a ton of seashells on the beach, but it’s beautiful!

Delivered as advertised. View from balcony spectacular. Beach is a shell beach and if you like to go in the ocean this is not the beach to be on. If you like using the pools both pools are exceptional. We sat on the beach and used the pools for swimming. I would highly recommend this property everything inside is brand new. Kitchen appliances need some updating but usable.

Very meh

This was the 5th or 6th condo at Cinnamon Beach that we've stayed at (my family loves this location), and this was easily the one that I would rank last. It's not terrible, but it's pretty bare-bones. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a dead cockroach in the middle of the kitchen floor, and whole property in general needs some freshening up (e.g. burnt out light bulbs in the master bath and laundry rooms, loose transition strip between master and bathroom, and general need for a fresh coat of paint and/or wallpaper pretty much every where). Overall, I do not think I would book this condo again, unless some improvements were made.

Beautiful view

The most beautiful view ever!! We enjoyed spending most of our time on the balcony and beach. The beach is rocky but beautiful. Our only complaint was no curtains in the bedroom off of the entry way . The blinds did not help keep the light out of the bedroom. The outdoor porch light was so bright our room stayed lit up at night. That part was not good at all !! We told staff but there was nothing they could do. It would have been nice to have a dark room to sleep in.

Great condo! No complaints , but an FYI the beach at low tide is very rocky and at high tide when playing in the water you can hurt yourself on the hidden rocks.

Perfect family vacation!

The property was beautiful! The balcony had views for days! It was the perfect set-up for the 7 of us. The heated pools were very nice when the beach had a few too many rocks for our liking, even though it was beautiful to look out and walk on just not for swimming. Would definitely stay here again!

Maintenance Performed

There was painting and cleaning going on the entire week. We were woken up at 7:00 am every morning by peeping equipment. Ocean view was obstructed by cranes working all day. Maintenance men randomly appeared in our windows and on the balcony. We were not forwarded of the maintenance going on. I called the property manager and have not received any response for 3 weeks. Very disappointing vacation!

Luxury condo and beach

We loved staying at Cinnamon Beach at Ocean Hammock! The condo was beautiful, spacious and clean. My girls loved the pools and the beach. We will definitely return next year!

Second time at Cinnamon Beach. First time oceanfront. Won’t be our last. Loved the unit amenities and view. Only thing we wished it had was an electric grill on the patio and cushions on the chairs around the table.

The condo was great everything else not so much

Let me start by saying the condo was really nice, beautiful view, clean, very well maintained. The reason I am giving this place an overall 2 is for the following reasons: - The beach has so many sharp, large rocks that my son and many others busted their legs, knees etc. trying to attempt swimming in the ocean. We had to finally drive 20 minutes north to find a nice beach with no rocks and great waves. This was an inconvenience since we really wanted to enjoy the beach within a walking distance to our condo. If you are an older couple who does not intend to get in the water but simply enjoy the view, than this may be a great place for you. Not so much for families with kids and teens who want to play in the ocean. - The pools were nice but quite a walk from the actual unit. The kids pool was really small for the size of the entire complex and the nicer, large pool was a "quiet" pool were you were not allowed to talk loud, splash, play pool games etc. So again if you are an adult looking for a quiet place with no interruptions, than this may appeal to you. We had 3 pre teen boys who wanted to enjoy themselves and unfortunately the kid pool was crowded and not big enough so they had to quietly swim laps in the larger pool without making noise or splashing etc. - The entrance gate was managed very inefficiently and on one occasion we had to wait over 30 minutes to pull into the complex. Guests who had issues with their room registrations were held up and while security guards were trying to solve a single issue lines of cars were just waiting to enter the complex. - On a final note, we were given a room access number and initially it did not work so we had to call the management company and after multiple tries we finally figured out that the key pads were changed and now you have to punch in the check mark key after a number to access the unit. The management company was not aware of this and i figured it out by chance, simply trying all potential options out of frustration.

Unexpectedly elegant and spacious. A hidden gem!

When we walked in for the first time, we were surprised at how beautiful and big the unit was. Great view of the ocean. Easy access to an uncrowded beach. We did not know there would be so many big rocks on the beach that get submerged at high tide. But we figured out how to get around them and we had a a great beach vacation!
