Large 2-room apartment with terrace (75m²) very bright crossing, on the 2nd floor of a 3-storey building. Accommodation possible for 3 people. Private TERRACE and veranda with garden furniture to rest. Ideally located in the CITY CENTER, in a lively and popular area near the Place de la Comédie. Close to shops, Saint-Roch train station and trams. Furnished with all comforts. Linen and towels provided.1 futon bed (160 cm) and 1 inflatable bed (120 cm) or folding bed (90 cm) in the living room (on request)..<br>Electricity consumption is extra for monthly rentals.<br>Arrivals and departures are made with a representative of the apartment between 7 am and 11 pm with an additional 15€ to be paid on site for a departure between 7 am and 9 am and an arrival between 9 pm and 11 pm.<br><br>Bright and comfortable charming large one bedroom flat (75 sqm) with large private paved terrace and small conservatory right in the town centre near the place de la Comédie. It is conveniently located for local amenities and is less than 5 minutes' walk from the train station. Recently redecorated, the flat is fully furnished to a high specification. The flat comprises one large double bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm) with the possibility to set up an air bed on request or a single folding bed ; one large lounge with a dining table, a comfortable sofa and several armchairs - ; one fully equipped eat-in kitchen ; one fully tiled bathroom with shower over bath and one terrace with outdoor dining area and barbeque. Enjoy a fresh air on the beautiful terrace. For the entertainment we have TV, internet and stereo system available for you. The flat is on the second floor of a three storey high 1920 building. In case you are with a car there are several nearby public parkings. Stay with us and enjoy the time spent with a comfort! <br>Additional cost for the electricity used per month<br>Greeter's hours are strictly from 7.00am and 11.00pm.<br>For check-in from 9.00pm and 11.00pm and for check-out from 7.00am and 9.00am, the guests will be charged 15€, to be paid to the greeter.

"A real ''home from home''. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the conservatory area under the bright sky but out of the unseasonable wind. Excellent access to all forms of public transport enabled us to make numerous interesting visits throughout the region."

Fabulous place

We enjoyed our one month stay here very much. It’s ideally located to transportation and the old city. It’s comfortable and quiet. Our host met us at the train station and was very good at communicating. We will stay here again if we find ourselves back in Montpellier.

It was a really lovely place to stay. Convenient for station, trams and wandering the old town. The appartment had everything you needed and is roomy and airy and has a nice quiet terrace, so you can sit outside. Despite not having air conditioning - only fans - it felt cool inside, even though it was up to 40 degrees outside. Ingrid, who looks after the appartment was very welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful apartment with wonderful outdoor space

We had a really nice stay here! Merci beaucoup! Two points of information might be helpful: 1) the neighborhood can be noisy at times, but closing the windows (amazing windows!) solves that problem; 2) when temperatures soar, as they did this summer, the apartment can be hot, though the fan in the bedroom helps--also Montpellier cools off at night.

Excellent stay

I based myself here while exploring the region. The apartment is very walkable for all the main sights in Montpellier, and the proximity to train and tram network is excellent. The neighbourhood is lively; it can be noisy at night but is perfectly safe and friendly. The apartment is cosy and perfect for 1-2 people with all the amenities you might need. Communication with the host was easy. I felt at home and can recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wonderful

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the decor. We enjoyed our evening drinks with the balcony windows open or sitting in the back terrace. The location was very convenient, walking distance to various attractions and restaurants. The neighbourhood was noisy at night but we were able to shut most of it out by closing the windows. I would recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you for having us!

Great stay in Montpellier

Lovely apartment in gorgeous Montpellier with a beautiful back deck. The living room and bedroom were quite comfortable, kitchen well stocked, bathroom perfectly sized for the two of us. Loved the two large windows in the living room which made it bright and airy. The neighborhood was very safe although a little noisy in the early evening. The property managers were great and even spoke English which was an added plus since our French unfortunately is very limited. Overall a perfect choice!

Location, location with class

Laurence was helpful at the time in Paris in flawless English with travel details getting me from CDG to Montpellier. Her on the scene "concierge," Eddie, was wonderful with check in and during. At 76 I found the two flights of stairs quite manageable with ample stairway lights and very sturdy handrail. I use "class" instead of "charm," because this has all one could want with "Vieille France" but with all the modern updates. Everything works, and you are steps away from all the action! Chapeau!

Ingrid, who checked us in, was very nice and helpful. She explained how the appliances and TV worked (Including trying to find us some American stations) and helped us out when we needed emergency dental work.- The location was really perfect for our needs. We took a number of day trips via train and the location just a few minutes walk from the apartment worked out perfect. The main square, Comedie, the historic core, large grocery stores and farmers’ markets were all within 10-15 minutes on foot (smaller markets are much closer). We also love to walk and found lots of interesting sights to see within walking.- The living area was quite spacious and comfortable. Additionally, the building was very quiet and we slept well.Note that electricity is extra. This is apparently listed on the French VRBO website, but not the American version for some reason. The host did make us aware of this right after we booked so we did have the option to cancel but we agreed to pay.

Appartement spacieux et lumineux de plus traversant grâce à une grande terrasse très agréable. Il y a tout le matériel nécessaire. La rue est passante mais c’est justement l'avantage qu’il soit situé à deux pas du centre ville historique. Hôte et accueil par Eddie très dispo et sympathique.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Terasse inklusive kleinem Wintergarten ist großartig und man sitzt dort abgeschieden und sehr stimmungsvoll. Die Größe der Wohnung ist sehr gut für 2 Personen.Die Ausstattung ist gut, es ist alles in ausreichender Menge vorhanden.Zudem ist die Lage nahe der Innenstadt sehr gut, alles mögliche ist fußläufig erreichbar.Leider waren viel Geschirr, Töpfe und Gläser sehr schmutzig und fettverklebt in die Schränke geräumt worden, sodass wir vieles nochmals gründlich abspülen mussten.Zudem funktionierten die Kochplatten auf dem kleinen einzelstehenden Herd nicht richtig. Wasser darauf zum Kochen zu bringen dauerte mehr als eine Stunde, wir haben das dann aufgegeben.Die Wohnung hat keine Klimaanlage. Das ist, wenn normale Temperaturen herrschen, nicht schlimm und wenn man bei Hitze die Fenster nachts öffnen kann, ist das auch ok. Nur sind auf der Straße gegenüber und im Erdgeschoss insgesamt 4 kleine Bars und Restaurants und bei Hitze trinken die Gäste auf der Straße, was teilweise bis nachts um 4 Uhr ziemlichen Lärm verursacht. Man schreit sich über die Straße hinweg an. Das macht ein Schlafen bei geöffnetem Fenster leider unmöglich.Es wäre noch schön, dem Bett eine neue Matratze zu gönnen, die momentane ist ziemlich durchgelegen.Fazit ist, dass die Wohnung mit Terrasse wunderbar ist, die Unterhaltung und Reinigung ordentlicher sein sollte und das Umfeld leider der Wohnsituation zu schaffen macht.

Schöne, helle Wohnung im 2. Stock eines Hauses in der Innenstadt. Drei Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt,5 Min. bis zum historischen Zentrum. Tolle, kreative, gemütliche Inneneinrichtung. Waren mit allem sehr zufriden.

Appartement très agréable, spacieux, accueillant et bien situé à 5 min du centre de Montpellier. Seul point faible la communication avec l’agence de gérance immobilière qui n’est pas toujours évidente.

Sehr schönes Appartement

Sehr schön eingerichtet, perfekte Lage sowohl zum Zentrum als auch zur Straßenbahn Richtung Strand...der wirklich einzige Wermutstropfen ist die sehr laute Straße, die Schlafen bei offenem Fenster nicht erlaubt. Im Hochsommer nicht so schön.

Confortable et bien situé

Situé près du centre, l'appartement donne un accès facile à beaucoup de sites grâce aux transports en commun à proximité. On s'y sent parfaitement à son aise, et la fraîcheur de la terrasse est agréable dans les journées chaudes.

Comfortable apartment

I spent the month of July staying in this well situated Montpellier apartment. Laurence and her local assistant, Juliette, were both very pleasant and easy to communicate with. The apartment is very comforably furnished with everything you need and is clean and well maintained. I particularly enjoyed the terrace (eastern exposure) in the evenings. The living room and bedroom face the street and there can be lots of activity in the early morning hours (people hanging out on the street talking). I found that closing the windows and turning on the fan kept the place quiet and comfortable. The train station is a five-minute walk so it's very convenient for day trips to Provence. All the he tram lines also stop in front of the train station so it's easy to explore Montpellier. I had a wonderful time staying here and would stay again. Highly recommended.

It was a nice stay and I really appreciate it! Being located in very convenient area, the apartment is cozy, stylish and relaxing. I liked the atmosphere of the south of France. The owner and the lady who took care of the apartment were very helpful and kind. I would like to stay there when I have another chance to go to Montpellier in future.

Great place to stay

We had looked at many places to stay for a month in Montpellier and choose this apartment because of its proximity to the station and central location in the city. The description of the place was absolutely correct and we loved our stay. The pictures reflect the character of the apartment very well. There is a good size living room with a big round table and seating area, a bedroom with an area to hang all your clothes, and a lovely kitchen where two people can have cozy meals. The terrace in the back must be great to sit around on summer evenings but we did not use it that much because of the time of the year we were visiting. The apartment had a nice assortment of guides and maps in French and English of the region. We did not have a car and travelled mostly by tram, train, and bus all over the area. In the evening, it was always nice to come back to a familiar place after a long trip.

Une Bonne Vacance

L'appartement était belle. La location était pres de centre ville.Le propriétaire nous a donne de bons conseils. Nous recommencerons anis amis. L'appartement est près de Monoprix supermarché.
