Booking & check-in was straightforward. Situated in a very handy location for both the Elizabeth Line & DLR. Also very close to a M & S food store, Tesco Express, Gails, decent pub (Dial Arch) & independent cafes.A good base for a London stay. Perhaps could do with a bit of a spruce up? Only issue was the temperature in the apartment, but not really anything that could be done about it due to the fact that it’s an old converted building. Maybe some more larger fans would have been useful, but to be fair my own house was roasting during the summer!!Would probably rebook

Location was great!

Great location near the train station. Not a ton to do around this specific area but looks to be growing in popularity. Place was nice, but feels more like a bachelor pad than we are used to staying in. Good value for the price!

Enjoyable stay

A thoroughly enjoyable day in a part of London we didn’t know. We had an issue with cleaning continuing after our checkin which stops the giving of 5 stars.

Thank you Kevin and yes completely understandable. Really glad however you had a great time and enjoyed your stay despite the mixup with our cleaning team causing them to finish later than anticipated. Thanks for choosing us and leaving us a fair and fabulous review

Great stay!

We had a great stay at the apartment in Woolwich. It was super easy to get to all the locations of interest. Transportation gets a little expensive though. Woolwich had a yummy Tibetan restaurant, a Parisian coffee shop, and a giant supermarket. We felt comfortable in the apartment.

Beautiful apartment

We spent three nights in London (including New Year's Eve). The apartment is beautifully designed, small but sufficient for a family of five, and located in a good and safe area. Communication with the owners / agency was uncomplicated. I would rent this apartment again and can only recommend it.

Good flat in a nice and quiet neighbourhood

We had a pleasant stay in London and the apartment was a perfect place to rest after exciting days in the big city. It is well equipped and big enough for a family of four (the two bathrooms are helpful!) Note: When it’s warm outside, it can get warm inside…

Our host(s) were kind and accommodating from the start, including arranging a last minute early check-in when one of our party members felt ill. They always provided timely and friendly responses. Their property was well-maintained, comfortable, and easy to navigate.

Excellent location

The flat is excellent value for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I also LOVED the location. Woolwich was a revelation - quiet, close to the tube and the Thames, cool coffee shops and restaurants. I would definitely go back. The flat itself could use a bit of TLC to make it perfect, but I am only talking minor things like a coffee table and taking the peeling stickers from the walls.overall though - excellent!

Great Stay!

This is a great flat in a perfect location for getting around and seeing all of the attractions in London. You can easily access the city by train, bus or boat all within a 5 to 10 minute walk from the flat. Inside the unit, it was perfect for our family of four. Two bedrooms upstairs with an en suite in the main bedroom and a full bathroom downstairs. If you are looking for a place to stay in London and want easy access to get around the city without a car, this is a great place to do so.

Our location is indeed ideal being so close to many transport options, so happy to hear you made great use of that to get around London!

Awesome experience and location!

We stayed for a week and from the time we checked in until we checked out we had such a great experience! The apartment was as described and was the perfect spot for us to enjoy all that London had to offer. The tube station was a few minutes away, there was a grocery close by, restaurants with great ambiance, and even awesome spots for morning coffee and pastries. On top of this, the property manager was WONDERFUL! She came out to meet us when we took the long way around the building, quickly responded to our questions, and was generous with her assistance. We would absolutely stay at this location again in the future.

Perfect location!

We had a great time here—the apartment was stylish and well-laid out for such a small space so it never felt cramped for the 5 of us (my younger son slept on the sofa). We were walking distance to a lovely bakery, a grocery store, the River, and some lovely old buildings. A short and simple train ride took us to the city center in no time! The location was excellent! We stayed mid-June so it was quite hot and the lack of windows upstairs made the apartment warm. So if you don’t like the heat like me, be prepared! They did have fans which were helpful. Great stay overall!

Great location

The apartment was well equiped, very clean and communication very easy and immediate. If I could give more stars for location I would. Elizabeth line and DLR very close. Station very new, clean and nice helpful employees. Couldn’t ask for better restaurants and pubs easy walk from apartment. We visited them all...Dial Arch and The Guardhouse favorites. We are two women and we always felt very safe walking in this neighborhood at night. Nice french patisserie also very near. A few well stocked grocery stores right in the neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Great place

I truly believe the listing was as described. It is a beautiful flat with two comfortable rooms and two bathrooms. For the price this is a steal in London. The host communicated with us and made all the arrangements especially when we had a late arrival. She made us feel like home. There were several pamphlets in the room that helped us plan one of our tours and trips into London. The property is really close to the train station and a various bus stops. Would definitely recommend this location and would return given the opportunity. 5 stars in my book!

Lovely stay in Royal Arsenal

As a family of four we loved our stay in between Christmas and New Year in Royal Arsenal. Communication with the owner was excellent, check in easy and the apartment as described. Royal Arsenal is a regenerated area just outside of the town of Woolwich - it is beautiful with local amenities including cafe and supermarkets. The town centre of Woolwich itself is a little run don. The dock for the Thames Clippers is very close by and a great way to get into London city centre - much nicer than the tube! Make sure you buy a daily rover ticket to save money and you can hop on and off anywhere. Overall a lovely apartment - would definitely use it again for a break in London.

Very poor communication

How disappointing this stay was, we were late for check in due to our plane leaving and landing in very late, you HAVE to check in with a person to get keys and since we were after the check in time they charged us extra, this was not disclosed on their website at all and they were not accommodating with this and they were very rude in their communication on messages and when I called in person. They were very rude when I was requesting how to get to the VRBO as we are not from here and we were confused, you must call them btw 1 hour before your arrival, we were on our plane one hour before and did not care that we contacted them several hours before and once we contacted them they stated "we will see if we can get someone there to give you the keys" like there was a possibility of them not being able to and we would have needed to find another place to stay for all 5 of us. I have never had such a bad experience as this. And the place did not make up for all the rudeness. I would not recommend this location to anyone!

Hello Corinna, We’re very sorry you feel this way. It was clear you were very stressed from the delayed flight you had and that came across in your communication to us and our team, as in your review. We offer our guests a personalised welcome to our home away from home. It’s what makes us unique as we love to welcome our guests and is how we are set up. Our check in times and policies are clearly stated in our house rules. If we have to wait past this time, in your case, this was well past midnight —it means our staff are unable to get back to their families on time and we compensate them for this. It also means regardless of the time you arrive, you are welcomed by someone who can help and show you around so you can settle in quickly. We are certainly not rude to guests and we did state we’d do our best to have someone meet you, as per above this is our policy and preference as we needed to make changes since you were delayed over 4 hours. Never did we say you could not check in. It’s unfortunate your frustrations resulting from your flight experience has clouded your judgement of our otherwise highly well reviewed and commended apartment and we hope in the future you can appreciate how much our team went out of their way to help.
