Mid-winter break vacation

Wonderful week on the Big Island in a beautiful home and neighborhood. The house was outstanding and just as listed. A huge plus were the amenities in the garage….bikes and helmets, boogie boards, snorkels and fins, beach ball, sand toys, beach chairs, many towels, and to top it off a collapsible wagon to carry everything. Super thoughtful of the hosts…and thus a great house to stay in with family/kids. We’ll return!

Very Spacious and nice community

We didn't have that many people in our party (only 3 adults and 1 toddler), but I would have been comfortable with double that number! There was plenty of room. They also have many amenities to help out with the stay. I would recommend this property. Very immaculately kept!!

A little piece of paradise

Loved this villa. It was perfect for 6 adults and 2 teenagers. The living room only has one couch but the teenagers did fine sleeping on the couch. Beds were comfortable! Location was great. You do have to drive to the beach. Beach club pass was nice to have.Pool was great. Communication with property managers was good.No extreme cleaning requirements on departure which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Complete Experience

Harmony is as advertised and perhaps more. We missed staying there immediately upon arrival on another island and realized the other home we rented for similar amount was not up to Harmony's standard. We had a minor issue on arrival and the owners response could not have been more thorough and expedited. Jeff and Suzanne responded as if they were next door (they do reside in the area) but we're actually in Europe on holiday with a 12 hr time difference. They care about their business, their properties and most importantly their clients experience and it shows. I'd go back next week if not for jet lag. Blake S.

Nice Property But Maintenance Needed

This is a nice property and a good location. You can definitely tell this unit gets a lot of use as it is in need of some maintenance. The living room furniture was worn, dishwasher was dated, many of the bikes didn’t work well including one that got a flat tire 3 miles from the unit, the refrigerator condenser leaks water which got our food wet inside the refrigerator and the fan in the unit does not turn off. A whole house deep cleaning is in order. For the price we paid, I’m not convinced this property is a great value.

Awesome experience

This was outstanding, everything is upscale decoration, beds were extremely comfortable, bedding, towel, and large supply of beach towel. They did not spare expenses TVs, appliances, all the silverware, cooking supplies, even toilet paper was plentiful and of high quality, which is we’re many place provide substandard products. our full size SUV fit in the garage barely, which is important because the driveway is too short to park in. It was walking distance to the pool and work out location. We had access to private beach for the resort, which we went to swim, snorkel and play in the sun. The unit came with snorkel, bikes and beach equipment, including chairs, coolers, and umbrellas. The facility was clean and very quiet. We did not want to leave. If your departure flight is a red eye, do yourself a favor and just book the extra night. Check out for us was 10 am and out flight was not until 10 pm. The location provide an excellent app with tons of excellent information, activities, and resources including a video of driving to the location.

Big island family trip

Harmony Villa provided a great home base for our big island trip this Oct. Its location is perfect for easy access onto main high way 19, and only a leasure drive from airport, Kona, and north end of the island. Mauna Lani commumity is well designed with lush landscape and private beach. WE spend two days there, truly relaxing. House itself is well maintained and have everything we need. Love it. Already thinking about going back for next trip.

Great layout, Beach Club is worth every penny

The house is very nicely laid out to accommodate a family with large bedrooms, two of which are masters, and a nice backyard to play in. Very close to the pool/gym. They ask that you wear a mask in the pool area so long as you aren't in the water or eating/drinking, which is what it is. The beach club is the best part by far. Would stay there again. Only drawbacks to the property were some appliance issues: refrigerator had a leak in the cooling unit and the dishwasher routinely failed to release the soap pod leaving a mess in dishwasher. Easy fixes IMO!

Perfect setting to experience the Big Island

Great location in a private home with easy access to beaches, stores, and beautiful walks! The snorkeling gear, bikes, and beach stuff provided in the garage kept us busy for the entire week. Would definitely rent this place again!

Pleasant Villa

Villa was all that it was advertised. Driveway was only 6 feet long so had to park both cars in garage. But we made it work. Master bath lighting can use some higher LED lighting. (Us that are above 55 need all the help we can get). Pool and gym were excellent and just steps from unit. Villa overall worked out cause my son, daughter in law and grandson only stayed 3 days than onto Maui. Wish there was a view, but you get what you pay for and than again we were only there to sleep and eat. The rest of the time out exploring paradise.

Family Vacation

Overall property was good, loved the location it was close to alot of beaches, there is grocery store very close that has everything you need. Lots of space in the house we had two different families staying and it had enough room and space for all of us. Careful with the BBQ it constantly has grease fires and needs to be cleaned or replaced. The cleaning/maintenance people need to sweep under the beds once in a while because it was pretty dirty and we had to have a bunch of light bulbs replaced which was a bit annoying. Check in was a bit of a challenge as we had no key to the pool or pass to the mauna lani beach...property manager was good she got that sorted out for us once we arrived but would have been nice to not have to deal with that especially given what you pay per night. All in all we were happy once we got everything sorted and would go back. Hopefully they will make improvements above so next visit will be seamless.

Great Time!

My family and I loved out stay here. We had 9 people and never once did we feel crowded. The house was amazing. I also loved the fact of how close we were to the community pool and the workout room. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect house

We stay at kamillo frequently in other units as well - this house was really well done and had everything we needed to cook at home and also well equipped with anything we may need to go to the beach or just to entertain ourselves at the house. Just wonderful!!

Quality Property

This is a quality property in a quality development. The kitchen had high quality cooking equipment and cutlery. The bathrooms had great towels. There is a nice soaking tub in the master bathroom. We had to clean a few things off in the kitchen when we arrived and the barbecue is a bit balky - burner #2 doesn't always turn on and the searing burner needs to be repaired. The management people were very helpful and helped us out very promptly. Overall this is a great place to stay and we would definitely be happy to vacation here again.

Great Place to Stay

Our extended family of 7 had a great stay. House is well equipped, loved the beach toys in garage. Nice kitchen, and AC kept us cool on the hottest days. We've stayed in this area before and appreciate having a grocery store and coffee within walking distance; private beach club to snorkel, and this time we found the black sand beach. Centrally located to a number of other beaches - made day trips easy. Pool on property was an added bonus. Only a few knocks against the property, but didn't upset our stay: (a) we couldn't fit 2 cars in garage and the driveway is really short. Parked car down street (other houses had longer driveway and could fit a car). (b) Backyard isn't large and not much to look at, but we were out of house until sundown so no big deal. (c) the house was clean, however we found a lot of filthy wine glasses in cupboard that we had to give a good scrubbing to. Someone needs to say something to housekeeping about that. All in all a great find and well worth the price. We would stay here again.

I feel so fortunate to have stayed here

What a fantastic place! I feel so fortunate to have had an opportunity to stay in such a lovely home. You can tell the owners have gone to great lengths to prepare an amazing home for guests. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, and everything you need for a Beach day has been provided. Wow! The home is close to the beautiful pool and workout facility. My husband and older two children had some of the best snorkeling of the vacation on the private beach we had access to with this home. My younger two children loved the calm of this private beach. I chose to walk daily to the Foodland grocery store to pick up dinner supplies because eating on the lanai is lovely. If our travels bring us to the Big Island I would absolutely stay here.
