We loved this apartment in Trastevere, just across the river from the main tourist areas in Rome. You can easily walk across one of the many bridges, or use a taxi or ride service. There are many, many bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is extremely well-equipped, and Bruno was a kind and thoughtful host, allowing us leave our luggage temporarily the morning we checked out.
One minor thing to note - the building does have an elevator, but there are a few stairs up and a few stairs down before reaching the elevator. Not a big deal, but if you are looking for wheelchair accessibility, this could be a challenge. For anyone with average mobility, no problem at all.
